What to buy? Which is better?

...IMO? ;)

Well, If I were to say that it was the best gun ever, or something that is only true for some players, then I would need that in there. But, it DOES have infinite range, and it CAN be used anywhere, so no point in having that in my post.

...IMO? ;)

Well pretty much all the ranged-weapons except for Rail and Shaft lose damage over distance

which gun or simply turret is best at warrant officer series, in other word which turrets is best at m1 modifictionS???? note: im playing in every map style(large, medium, small) im asking this for my alt account

I would go with Rail. Can take out all M1s with 2 shots. Twins range at M1 is too short, and Thunder's reload is a bit long

Should I get smoky m1 now, at a smoky sale, or wait until I reach the required rank for m2 and wait for a sale and get m1-m2?

If you already have an M2 weapon then personally I would wait until you would be able to get the M2.

Agreed, just teasing a bit. ;)

You can use the Rail everywhere indeed, but IMO it is not the best weapon in a DM.

Ofcourse that also depends on the map, but in a map with few really good hiding spots as in a Polygon DM

it only works well when drugging with DP 's.

What I am trying to say that although you can use every weapon anywhere, it 's not always the most logical and/or best choice.

M1 Smoky is useless at your rank unless you're playing with people who have M0s, so I would get to Colonel and get M1-M2, but if there's a smoky sale and you're not Colonel, then get Smoky M1.

Actually, railgun works well in polygon DM without drugs for me. So it dosent only work well drugging.

The last part is true though.

Rail is good at kill stealing, and it can do tons of damage, so if you have a nice camping spot railgun becomes very effective.

EDIT : Sorry, my computer doesn't let me quote! :(

If you like sniping/camping, get Shaft, don't even consider Isida. If You like being right there in the middle of the action, being an active attacker or defender, get Isida, don't even consider Shaft.  Shaft without the scope is less powerful than Thunder, and with it's super long reload time, it is useless for close combat. The snipe mode takes a few seconds to get full power, and it has a super slow rotation speed, so you can't use that close range either. However, if you like camping/sniping, and staying out of range from your opponents, Isida is literally useless.

ISIDA PROS
    - Self-heal while attacking gives a distinct advantage over other short-range weapons.
    - Ability to heal other teammates gives lots of XP and lots of points.
    - While drugging, you can wipe out a whole team and end up with most your health left.
ISIDA CONS
    - Short range makes it useless at distance.
    - Good luck catching any Wasps
    - Don't forget Isida needs to recharge too!
SHAFT PROS
    - Sniper scope makes it easy to pick off far away targets
    - With full power it can take out M0 Titans and Dictators
    - The ultimate defensive weapon on maps like Serpuhov and Madness

SHAFT CONS

    - Useless at close range, don't even try.
    - When using Shaft out of cover, you can be killed without even noticing your attacker.
    - Obviously the long reload time.

I suggest using Shaft with large tanks or Viking ONLY, that way you don't get wiped out before you can snipe. I recommend using Isida with light tanks ONLY, that way you can catch up to enemies.
It all depends on your gaming style! ;)

RIco M2, Fire M2, Wasp M2, Smoky M2, Thunder M2, Viking M2, Mammy M2, or Titan M2? I use Hornet M2 right now, I have Rail M2, and Shaft M2 and Freeze M2. I mostly use Rail and Hornet, I am going to get Smoky M2 but I  just want to see what you guys think.

I actually think Shaft with lighter tanks is better, because the charging time is really fast (ONLY FOR M2 or above), and the reloading time is slow, you can peeka boo, but with heavy tanks, you need to sit out there and tank shots, so you die more often, but with lighter tanks you can change spots really fast.

Done some tests with Smoky and it turns out I'm not so bad with it - probably down to the amount of time I've spent using Thunder; so after Thunder M3, should I get Smoky M1-M2 then Savanna? I'm getting more and more convinced by the minute.

In regards to Remain's question:

I would aim for Smoky, it fires at a nice rate, does decent damage and has a chance to do Critical Hits also has good Rotation speed. As for Savanna it seems like a good choice seeing is how it has nice protection against Smoky and a bit for Rail as well.

Yes, totally. I am doing that too.

Not a bad idea, sounds pretty good! If you wanted, you wait another rankup and get the OP m3 freeze.

Get your Hornet M3 first and then Smoky M2 would be nice to buy. You might prefer getting Freeze M3, your former weapon ;)

Smoky M2 is a good choice, though I'd get a hull after it. More likely Viking M2 or Titan M2. If you want another weap, Thunder should suit your playing style as you use Rail&Shaft.

I'd go for Smokey for the weapon and Titan or Viking for the hull, depending on if you want more speed or HP.

Ok that's what I thought, so I should get Vik M2 or Titan M2 next. What do you think about Wasp M2, although I already have Hornet M2?

Yes, I think you should always get a weapon before a paint, although Savanna is nice. You said somewhere else that you need a good paint to complete your garage, so maybe you should get it, it's up to you.

What exactly do you have? Off the top of my head, I would say go with the viking. You can't go wrong there, and I wouldn't suggest getting titan unless you're getting it M3 (assuming you have m2 mammoth).

@Gaz and Raph: Freeze M3 for me is compulsory - I was always going to get it after Hornet M3.

Now, in regards to Smoky, I'll see what I can do - alternatively, I'll wait till Marshal then when a sale comes, I'll M1, M2 and M3 it. I was using Smoky M3 when testing it too, not MU'ed. Thinking about it now, it seems like the better option. Makes it easier to get both Hornet and Freeze M3 at Major General.
