What to buy? Which is better?

What should I upgrade next? I use m2 thunder, m2 freeze, m2 hornet, m1 Titan, m1 firebird and cedar.

I'm a captain, and it feels like iM mostly using thunder with hornet/ titan

Okay, I know what I'm gonna do - I'm gonna save up and not buy Hunter M1 now. I'm gonna get to 35.3k which'll be enough for Hornet M2 half price (Christmas time) what I'll do is get to 66k which will be enough to buy Hunter M1 full price (I'm prepared to pay) but still have enough for Hornet M2 at sale.

I have 30k now and I'm so tempted to buy Hunter M1 now. I feel it's better off I don't do that.

I would stay on the safe side and wait for hornet m2 if you must get it. Then get hunter m1. Although if you think you will hve enough for hornet m2 by sale id get hunter m1 now.

As a railgun user, my most dreaded opponent is a skilled Smoky or Freeze.

Yes you may think that. But you need skill to use smoky effectively. For example knowing how to kills steal with it as it has low damage per shot.

Yep, Hunter's too awesome - I couldn't resist. I'd regret not doing it.

I need to get Hornet M2 

With the help of sales, I should be able to achieve this:

 

 

Unlikely I'll be able to upgrade to Hunter M2 by Colonel but it's possible. Maybe if I win a contest or something.

And the turrets are placed next to the hull I'd use it with.

 

EDIT: Just upgraded Hunter to M1! I'm confident I can get 35k by the end of December. I mean, we're still in October, for god's sake.

once you start playing with higher ranks you will start to see more crystal boxes dropping, and also the battle fund will increase a lot faster

so you will have enough for the sales in the future

If you want to have a lot of crystals, I recommend you use your current combo, Fire/Wasp, and just save up for M1 Freeze and M1 Viking. I'm going to assume you play a lot of CTF, so M1 Freeze is a good buy for you. Also, since you already have a light hull, you don't need to have M1 Hornet (but it goes on sale a lot, so you can get it if you wish), so I recommend you get Viking, as Freeze/Viking is decent if you're going to be drugging.

 

FYI if you're going to use Wasp later on, I recommend you get Tundra (at a sale) at WO4 since Forester isn't enough protection for Wasp against M1 Rails.

yea hornet m2 is worth buying now ur in Lt. ranks and u will be battling with m2 guns so u will be destroyed many times so in my opinion get hornet m2 :)
