What to buy? Which is better?

I now have over 170k in the bank thanks to a very generous friend.

What should I buy?

• M2 Fire
• M2 Dictator
• M2 Railgun
• M1  Hammer
• M2 Hornet
• Spark
• Heavy MUs on M2 Hunter
• Heavy MUs on Digital
• Heavy MUs on Rustle

 

Ok rich/lucky person. Get Rail, since you XP a lot (correct?). M2 Firebird is excellent as well; I would take it any day over M2 Freeze or even M2 Isida. It can last you well into the M3 ranks...

You claim that Hunter is a cure-all for any situation, so I don't see any point in getting another hull.

Isida is your best choice because it provides an array of options to get experience points. For one, isida is considered one of the best CTF turrets because of its self-healing effect, allowing you to attack enemies on your trail while healing yourself or lowering your enemie's damage effect. If you don't feel like fighting, you can just run around your base and heal any tanker in need, which gives you a lot of points in the end.

Based on my experience in battle, I see much more thunders roaming around the field than I see twins. Of course, there are incidences where you may come across a heavy mammoth/twins defender, but these cases are not common. Also, since Thunder M2 is unlocked much sooner than Twins M2, thunders are more common in battles. Another thing to note is thunder m3 is one of the first M3s anybody can get, while Twins m3 is unlocked much later at Marshal (hence Thunder will be more popular at your ranks and at Brigadier). So, I would go with Cedar.

Since Tanki said they will edit the paints plus add more, I would go with wait. It's always better to be safe than sorry and given that troubles may arise and Tanki's lack of fixing/editing any individual's problems, even if they may seem unfair, is always a sign that it's better to see what Tanki plans on doing to the game instead of guessing. I would wait.....

need help. dictaor m1? hornet m1? or a paint. i use railgun m1. which of those should i buy

Go with Hornet m1. Hornet as you probably see in battle is one of the most popular hulls and for a good reason. It has decent speed, can work with most turret, and is the first hull you can unlock M3. Hornet is always best with turrets like isida, freeze, firebird, smoky, and especially raligun, which is considered the best and universal combo in Tanki. Seeing that you already have railgun, hornet m1 would be an excellent addition to your garage. Once you upgrade this combo to m2, almost any m2 clan would be willing to accept you.  

 

Don't buy m1 dictator because for one, its performance is rather poor, especially among m2s, and its m3 is unlocked at generalissimo, which is a long long way from now. M2 Dictator will also become very weak as you start to go into the Brigadier+ ranks just because other m3s can easily overpower an m2. 

 

Don't buy a paint because after you go up 2-3 more ranks, there will be much more paints available for you to get. By then, you should be able to know which turret is hardest for you to fight against, and thus, make your best judgment on which paint to buy. Of course, if you do want to buy a paint, Tundra would be your best option.

So, one of my favorite combos, is Rail M1/HOrnet M1.  I also use viking about as often as hornet.  I was wondering if i should get twins M1 or Thunder M1?

Thunder would suit both hulls better than twins as twins is more of a heavy hull suited turret.

SMOKY: This is an all round weapon. It can be used for Attack/Defence/Midfield. Works in every hull and map and is awesome with drugs. 

 

FREEZE: When compared to firebird it seems weak but it is really powerful if MU'ed a little bit. Works great on Light hulls and Viking (Especially in DM)

 

FIREBIRD: Same as Freeze just alot better. Awesome damage and burning time let it dominate any map. Best wIth Hornet IMO. 

 

ISIDA: Good for teamplayers. Best if you hang back and heal rather than attack. Its awesome with DP and if you micro the self healing it becomes unstoppable

 

RICOCHET: Best with Medium/Heavy Hulls. It has good damage and firing rate. It can shoot down alot more than most turrets and reach unreachable places with its bounce. 

 

PRODIGI: Since there alot of Railgun and Thunder users, this paint shines brighter than all other. Awesome rail protection and decent thunder and shaft protection. Best on Silence and Serpuhov

 

INFERNO: Opposite of Prodigi. Great against short ranged weapons and is slightby worse than Zeus. . Since there are lots of Freezes and Firebords in Polygon, this paint is the best. 

 

NEEDLE: Awesome protection vs Smoky, possibly the most deadly weapon on the battlefield. It also helps you vs shaft which can prevent you getting 1/2 hit depending on what hull. Aslo has good Ricochet protection which is good because rico is OP

 

I would recommend Smoky + Prodigi as they are the best of thier kind IMO. Hope this helped :)

Try out Rico m2 or Rail m2

Because of the new auto-aim update Rail can tip Hornets and Wasps over alot easier. Ricochet is great and some tankers that have mastered it have used it into m3 ranks

I doubt the minigun will come out before the sales, so if this is the case:

I have 58k and probably earning a bit more by then. If my pro pass expires at the right time I am planning to get that at 50%.

My garage, for those that do not know about it, is Hornet, Rail, Rico, Hunter m2. My best paint is tundra.

On my wish list I have Fire m2, Smoky m2, and perhaps minigun m2. I probably will not get all of these as I near closer to m3. But help me choose!

For this sale I could either get fire m2 and have a bit left, or wait on Smoky m2/Minigun m2 and not get anything but a pass (or anything else suggested). Keep in mind I would have to buy m1 for each before m2. Also keep in mind I think i'll be waiting for a better paint at the m3 stage and buy XP m3 as some of my first m3s.

I barely thought about shaft, I think I could consider getting that at the sale too.

I know Smoky is more versatile and connects with rails gameplay a bit, this is all good. Then adding the shake of aim, possible crits, and fast reload, sounds great. It also is a part of the light format.

For fire it is something I had wanted a while ago, including the after burn effect, and being able to spray multiple at a time. It would also be my first short range m2. However I would need to go back to my m1 a bit to see if I still like it.
