What to buy? Which is better?

Ok for the sale should I buy thunder m3 with inferno, freeze m3 with inferno, or just hammer m3

Hammer m3 is really powerful and hardly anyone will have peotection against it so that would be a good move. 

 

Between Thunder and Freeze, for me it really depends on what hull you have. If you have Hornet then Freeze would be better but if you have Viking then Thunder would be better. They can work just as well vise-versa but these are the most deadly combos. If you deside to get Thunder i would advise you to get Emerald (if you dont already have it) then get Inferno later

Long Term Plan: M2 + M3 Smoky/Viking vs M2 + M3 Thunder/Viking? I need some help deciding between the two combos...

 

(M2 + M3 Hornet/Isida are coming standard, that's for sure)

 

*Hornet's price is too much to resist. So cheap and more stable! Plus, M3 Hornet unlocks at Major General, only 2 ranks after Colonial, where M2 Wasp unlocks.

 

So, the final question: Viking/Smoky or Viking/Thunder? Which is a better combo?

Depends on what you like :)

 

I would go smoky, simply because i prefer smoky over thunder.

 

 

PS. m2/m3 smoky is damn OP :D

I forgot to mention: I also was looking at Viking/Freeze, since that looks like a reliable defense combo, while Viking/Thunder is a good midfield combo.

 

Any thoughts about Viking/Freeze?

True, true. I'm not sure Viking complements Smoky that well though. I feel that Smoky is probably better off on a Titan or a Wasp...

Tundra is definitely not a waste of crystals. For 30% Railgun protection, it's really cheap.

Oh, you already are getting it? Hmm... M1 Dictator and M1 Railgun might be a good idea. M1 Hunter and M1 Thunder is another thing to look at as well, but its really expensive.

Smoky honestly goes well with any hull, but at the M1 level, I'd recommend either Wasp, Hunter, or Dictator. Pick your favorite out of the three.

How about the fact that if i dont use digital a rail m1 can 2 hit me but with digital a rail m3 cant 2 hit me
