What to buy? Which is better?

Unless he plays in big maps and does long-range. The thunder range is twice that of the hammer.

Even then the damage will be minimal.

Looking at doduobird's rank, he'll also be close to Hammer M3.

Don't underestimate Hammer's range. It ain't that "short."

 

And what sets it apart from other close-ranged weapon like Isida, Firebird, and Freeze is that you can execute the peek-a-boo tactic. It packs in all its damage in one devastating blow.With the other three turrets however, it requires you to leave the hiding spot and spray the enemy continuously for any significant damage.

 

It has high damage, high knockback, and faster execution of shots. An easy tip is if you only have 1 out of 3 shots left, and no enemy is in sight, just shoot that 1 shot. You'll reload, have all 3 shots back and you'll be ready for the next opponent any time.

 

And in addition to that, I agree Shad0w. The damage at longer distances is much smaller when using Thunder, and that's not counting yet whether or not the person has paints. If he/she has Rustle/Emerald, then don't even bother wasting time. Might as well switch to another combination. And yet with Hammer, you can possibly flip the person if you can't kill him.

 

And that's also not counting Thunder's, although continuous, sluggish shots. Though that's why I MU'd my Thunder M3 reload up to 10/12.

So it doesn't bother me anymore. Haha.

 

And in my opinion, when going up against things like Hornets, I find Hammers to be more deadly than Thunders.

But that's just my opinion, and I have no idea what hulls you use.

 

In the end it'll be your choice. If you choose to get Thunder M2, then so be it. Though looking at your rank, I hope you earn enough crystals for M3 versions. The guys at our rank have already achieved M3/4 Thunders.

okay so.. i am planning to get smoky and wasp m2 and m3 comcos too. but i want to MU them so i need something to use when they are upgrading. so i need a turret that unlocks at low level, is good without MU and is easy to use. thunder would be good?

thunder and Isi are turrets that unlock early, with Isi you could gain score by killing 'n' healing

while with thunder, its by multi killing,

 

up to yourself which to use :)

Yeah I'm tired of constantly getting wrecked by drugging thunders, so I though I'd try thunder out.

really, getting beaten by a turret doesnt mean that is very good and you should try it :)

Total DPS is higher and you can do KS easily. 

Greaty impact force.

Still there are no paint and probably we won't see any paint in this month.

Moreover, i don't think many people w,ll buy hammer paint.

 

 

M3 İsida and Freeze is so near. So there is not any good point while brigadier ranks.

But hammer is special and M3 hammer is near enough

I say buy Fire, Fire isnt likely to be nerfed but hammer, well, with is OPness even on the ones I saw with frost,

well, If you want to be mainstream, just buy XP,

and as you will rank to its M2 next rank,just wait for a sale and then upgrade it to M2

 

you say you have problems in rank up,well, just M1 your fire and go to small maps and fire like crazy

 

or get Isida to heal 'n' kill for easy EXP.

First save for Hornet M2 if you like it(I recommend highly to do that) , second wait for a 50 % off sale for Railgun and buy M1 and M2

 

with one shoot  ;) 

 

Or if you don't like this one,First buy Hornet M2 and second save for other turrets like Freeze Isida and other,make best decision and

 

don't hurry.

It is weak when you get up the ranks but Fire m2 Is awesome. It has same damage as freeze m3 and the burning time is great. 

Hammer atm is completely OP. Someone did a test to see how m much damage per min each turret could do and if i remember rightly all turrets were around 1800-2500. Then there is hammer. it does 2-3X the amount of DPM woth a whopping 5300. Unless they majorly rebalance it i would recommend that. Also there are no protection paints out yet.

Also play and earn up cry then whenyou have to get off then micro upgrade it micros while your not on.

If you love Hornet+Railgun then wait till next sale and get Hornet M2 and Rail M1. It will cost around 50k so you will have enough for another turret or save for rail M2.

Don't get hammer. It will certainly get nerfed and paints will be out soon. It's a tactic, make a turret op then after everyone buys it, they nerf it and find another way to get people to buy crystals. I don't blame them they need to make a living, but you should be careful.

I bet the paints will be the only "nerf." Its stats will probably remain unchanged for a long time until the next update. And most likely at the next update every gun will be changed anyway.

And yes, it's called marketing.

Remember that we still have the Machine Gun turret that's supposed to be arriving.

Maybe you'll like it better than Hammer?

I wouldnt get those 2 as there sint much difference in FB and there are hardly any shafts around. Thunder would be the best option.

 

As for the 2 (rail MU or prod) I would go for prod as there are so many rails around.
