i was thinking of getting thunder m1 (when i can) but i saw that the damage droped alot with range,  is that somthing i should worry about or what???

When defending range doesnt matter. Its generally short range and thunders splash will kill you. Best is smoky (as kirby said) or freeze

I honestly don't know why. The only disadvantage is its low speed and larger hitbox but it has beautiful handling and can exploit turret hitboxes the best.

Why do people not use dictator?

When I was a low rank I ran up to a dic/rail and got within its no damage zone. I decided I would never use it. It's actually quite a nice hull. The turning speed makes for good handling.

Is M2 Hammer any good? It seems like a pretty good turret, but I've never used Hammer myself on the main servers.

 

How about Digital paint? I already have plenty of Railgun protection with my other paints, but I want a solid paint that camouflages well with trees and grass.

Is M2 Hunter/M2 Railgun any good? I know for a fact that the M1 Combo is very, very good, so I'm just wondering :P

M2 Freeze isn't that bad. Use it for defending flags or for running around with a light hull. I've seen plenty of players use it effectively, so while it might not be the best M2 around, it's still useable.

 

M2 Hunter/Rail seems to be about as good as the M1 version, but keep in mind that M2 Hunter isn't quite on the same level as M2 Viking. Stick some micro-upgrades on the health and/or speed if you want to keep up with the later M2s.

Alright. I'll shoot for Digital when the next sale comes. Lead is still my favorite camouflage paint for green maps, but let's face it, 18% Shaft protection isn't going to cut it at high ranks. :P

 

I have no need for Spark since I already have Desert. They have about the same amount of Ricochet protection, and I find that the 10-15% protections that Spark offers are negligible.

I was planning on doing that :P

TKP, I think even the slightest bit of protection can be helpful. No, 15% is NOT negligible.

 

EDIT: I thought you had Dirty as your Shaft paint?

Probably not, unless you want camouflage. Digital blends in very well with grass and mud environments, while Tundra is better for winter maps. If you don't care about camouflage, Digital would probably not be a good purchase.

Well, I play on a lot of summer maps... I might get it, then I'm covered for Camoflauge in Winter and Summer maps :D

Viking will pair really nicely with your turrets. I got it and have never regretted it. Its speed is great for its armor and it can rule any battle. You cound get smoky as well but i would wait for Isida m3 if i were you.

If you like Camo then choose a paint that blends in well with a map you commonly play in. As TKP said Digital is great for Summer maps (not desert kind) and Tundra is good for Winter. If you are just gonna choose then stick with Tundra. It has the same protection with a few MU's and saves you some cry.

I am a Digital user and it has been one of my top buys. It has good camo in bushes and is great when sneaking around bushy maps or camping. The rail protection is awesome since there are so many railguns around and with a few MU (6k worth) you can survive 2 rail m2 shots with m2 hornet.

Railgun, smoky or thunder are the best 1vs1 guns in my opinion.

Railgun can do shot-and-hide with great way.

Smoky can do but worse, by the way can fight on open area and can use knockback.

Thunder can use splash.

 

Shaft is the funniest gun for me.

Best 1v1 is Railgun/Smoky

Almost always, Hornet will go best with both of these.

Funniest way - Drive off edges, shoot in opposite directions and watch your tank flip!
