Viking is an awesome hull IMO. It is low but its wide and fast for its health. Its much better than Dictator m2 and you dont have to spend extras on M1. It works better with freeze m2 than dictator (i know from experience).

 

I use it m3 and i can still catch golds. Just you will need a bit more skill to catch them. I use it on all of those maps and can get a good score with it.

Yes. You should get dictator it's a very capable hull and you don't get one shouted by schaft. Ps it's also only a bit slower than Viking. Drugging double armour with dictator and Thunder can certify a victory ✌

Normally I would say get freeze m3 when you can but lately Hornet rail or Rico seems in fashion. Between those I would say ricochet. Twins can be a prat so if your a massive troll use the plasma

Rico attacks faster and it's able to flush out Firebird charging spots. Plus, many Zeus compared to clay. But, I don't have much experience using Rico... :(

Firebird attacks groups and leave them a nasty mark after use. If not seen in sight, and when sneaking behind, it's much fun.

 

The re-balance calls for changes. *sighs*

in future i would say firebird its too strong better than hammer or rico for medium and close range.

if you think about hulls hunter of course.  ( best combination will be fire and hunter ) if you can't afford both at same time start with fire then hunter.

Hammer is good if you have expetience with close range weapons if not it puts you at vety serious risk

Thank you so now that ive seen the changes please take your time to awnser a quick survey of mine:

(1) What would you recommend bye the best weapon?

(2)Railgun and Thunder have some serious game changing updates Which is more dominant?

(3)Is hammer still a contender for no.1 gun in tanki?

(4) Has smoky come out of the blue and stolen the competition?

(5) Viking or Hunter 

(6) Now that close range weapons have been tweaked what is IYO the stronger weapon?

(7) Are you happy with the rebalance?

(8) What about our two favourite plasma guns? Is there little difference or has Twins come to steal Rico's crown?

(9) If you were to put each weapon in a tier what would it be in?

(10)I f you were to put each Hull in a tier what woul it be in?

The changes listed are going to be tweaked, so there is no way to really say or make buying decisions now. However for now IMO

 

1. Fire,Rico,Rail,Thunder with direct hits, Isida?, in that order,but player preference matters

2. You'll be seeing more Fail gun users/ rail shots everywhere  :angry:. +more thunders

3. With the vertical dispersion increase , hammer is going to miss more pellets every shot 1-4. The increase horizontal won't affect it near as bad. i.e.( no real change-might hit an adjacent tank with 1 extra pellet on occasion

4. smoky is nerfed. Thunder will become the slower smoky with deadly FP

5- either and depends on M level

6 Fire

7 no

8- Twins is a joke. good M0 for a private/recruit, Rico is a great weapon, But I have not seriously looked at the new Twin changes, seems twins will be good inside 20m and that is it

I can't see that. Its maximum damage range (for M4) was reduced from 10 to 5 meters, so it can't burn 5 tanks to a crisp in 4 seconds anymore.

Basically, one says thunder another says dictator, 

personally i would pick thunder to M2, that way id have M2-M2.

I thought of dictator because i can have something different, and something that i can use untill gissmo.

Ill probably get Thunder M2...... 

But dictator or hunter M2 is so, so, alluring..

Titan has become a better Hull than Mammoth, IMO. I suggest saving for Hammer, but Titan should be a priority. ;)

They haven't made the change yet in the main servers, and they have not finalized the change even then. I still suggest Hammer for Polygon, because IMO, it is very good for the Death Pit. ;)
