What to buy? Which is better?

Hi guys!

 

I've saved some crystals for a while and I want to spend those crystals soon, because I'll rank tomorrow.

I'm talking about 194000 crystals. So, I was thinking about these upgrades:

• Thunder M2 + M3;
• Smoky M2;
• Hammer M2.

Which of these should I upgrade and why? Or should I upgrade two of them?

 

Other information:

I prefer battles in Sandbox (CTF/CP), Noise (CTF), Polygon (CP) and Serpuhov (CTF). I got a hornet M2 and a hunter M2. I used to use the hornet M2 often, but currently I prefer my hunter M2.

Right now, I have got 4 M2 weapons: Freeze M2, Firebird M2, Ricochet M2 and Railgun M2.

 

I'm looking forward to your comments and advices.

Recently, I bought Jackhammer and, although hammer has been nerfed, Jackhammer hasn't failed to impress me.

The point is -

What to do now ? (remember that i will be micro-upgrading at this discount and buying new hulls or turrets at June)

Option 1 - 60k of MU's on Viking And Hammer + Hornet M3

Option 2 - 40k of MU's on Viking and Hammer + Railgun M3

Option 3 - Thunder M2 + M3

I have M2 Thunder, M2 Hammer, M2 Hunter and approx. 170k cry. I DO NOT plan to purchase M3 Thunder.

I have 2k at the moment should I buy m1 firebird in the sale or try to save up 18k for firefly kit (wasp m1 + firebird m1 + carbon paint)?

Hmm....I am not sure.  Really depends on your battle style.  

 

As a personal tip, though, Carbon is awfully overpriced for significant smoky protection It is definitely good against smoky fights, but the other protections are barely noticeable UNLESS you use a heavy hull.  Besides, there are better paints unlocked at later ranks, and smoky is not as prominent as, say, Ricochets and Thunders...In my opinion, unless you are a devoted Firebird player who abhors Smoky (and 2 other guns), I recommend not buying it

Well, I am generally good (not always though) with scoring points (I would typically be in top 33% of my team) and getting.

Additionally, I am not a heavy spender who wastes crystals on drugs, micro-upgrades, or miscellaneous equipment that I am not interested in.  Moreover, I have a budget centered mostly on Firebird, Smoky, Hornet, and Viking instead of EVERY gun and hull available.

But I digress...

Today, I had to play DM. I have probably played DM once or twice before. I had to do it to figure out the reward distribution and participate in the Guess the Reward contest. I sucked! They were all gismos, and I had M2 equipment, and I saw a few allies. However, I figured it out. I wrote a short program, I key in the destroyed tanks for each player and the battle fund, and it gives me the exact rewards for each. I ran the two battles I went in and it was accurate to the crystal!

Get Smoky, and whatever hull you like. I know this wasn't one of your options, but I personally would get Dictator (if you can) as it would do nicely as it can do well with the varying elevations and lots of cover. (if i was patient enough lol)

You have a combo that will last you until Brigadier. I suggest you wait for the possible 50% sale to get M3 Isida, and maybe M3 Hornet. (If you are at that rank.)

 

Other possibilities: Twins M2, Titan M2, Firebird M2, or Viking M2.
