Twins VS Ricochet

 

Twins has practically become a firebird which can also shoot at long ranges for low damage.The Twins before the rebalance wasnt very good.

Ricochet is a multipurpose gun which can be used for many things.I have M1 for Ricochet.CTFs,Parkour,Medium-range sniping,Returning flags,dealing the damage etc.

 

Need help.

Twins all the way. If you can adapt very well you can take out even DICO's

It's difficult to compare hulls to turrets. If you don't have a turret m2, but already have a hull m2, go for Isida m2. If you don't have a hull m2, but already have a weapon m2, go for Hornet m2. If what I mentioned is not your case, I'd first go for Isida m2. You can hide behind one of your teammates and heal them. With Isida m2, you'll be able to keep your teammates alive longer. With Hornet m1, you must make sure to hide, so you don't get hit by enemies yourself as hornet m2 hasn't got so much health.

I've saved some crystals for a while and I want to spend those crystals soon.

I have 205k of crystals and I was thinking about these upgrades:

• Thunder M2 + M3;
• Smoky M2;
• Hammer M2.

Which of these should I upgrade and why? Or should I upgrade two of them?

 

Other information:

I prefer battles in Sandbox (CTF/CP), Noise (CTF), Polygon (CP) and Serpuhov (CTF). I got a hornet M2 and a hunter M2. I used to use the hornet M2 often, but currently I prefer my hunter M2.

I also have 4 M2 turrets (Freeze M2, Firebird M2, Ricochet M2 and Railgun M2) and 2 m1 turrets (smoky M1 and Thunder M1).

 

I'm looking forward to your comments and advices.

 

Thunder m2 + m3. 

Smoky hits more since the new balance, but still not enough to equal Thunder. The decrease of the critical hit is also a reason to buy Thunder instead of Smoky.

Hammer hits a lot with 3 fast shots. Unfortunately after these 3 shots, you have to reload  which takes quite some time while you you're standing relatively close to your opponents due tot the limited range. 

Thunder hits a lot too, but reloads a bit more slowly. Though it's a nice weapon to play with, funnier than Hammer and Smoky in my opinion. It deals massive damage and has a much longer range than Hammer. You must only be aware of the fact that you can hurt yourself. The splash damage indeed is decreased, but it's still useful. :)

I'd go for choice 1. Freeze is a rather boring weapon if u use it on a medium/heavy hull in my opinion. The speed of light hulls makes freeze an enjoyable weapon for me, but on Viking it's rather boring. I suggest you not to buy paints inside 100k. It's better to spend some more crystals to paints with a decent, useful protection than spending less crystals on paints you wish you didn't buy because they don't offer enough protection in battles. :p 

Thunder m3 is a great weapon in my opinion and fits perfectly on Viking m3.

 

This is just my opinion of course. Please base your choices on more opinions. :)

I would get the kit during the may sale and buy other equipment or MUs at the later sale.

is it possible to use mostly hunter smoky all the time. meaning I will mu hunter m0, say 4 or 5 step of most parameter at the next 50,80 sale. and will get smoky m1, and mu it too. it's it practical?

Twins has become a bit stronger, but I still prefer smoky. Imo more dynamic, trains up your skills a bit more, and more of a versatile weapon.
