Its mainly because it was the starting combination for all newbies in the game. The starting combination only changed to Hunter after the Rebalence in 2012 because it was more 'balanced'.

I believe there's also psychological aspect - Wasp/Smoky is quite fast tank its fast reloading turret, so players without any thinking, believe it loads faster, than lets say - if there was mammoth shaft, it seems slow, so the loading bar would seem slower

Not a bad reason for some tankers out there who somehow believe that having Manmoth Shaft as the loading bar image would somehow slow their loading speed so I guess Smoky and Wasp is good in that case even if it doesn't mean or help anything or anyone but can at least give some payers some sort of ''hope'' I guess.

Interesting theory, but I highly doubt that it has anything to do with loading speed. There was a time when the loading screen had no images at all, and smoky wasp was already the game's symbol. Although if you look at the game's trailer, it shows that the tank on the logo is actually a Hornet Smoky, not a Wasp.

Even if it doesn't help anything or has anything to do with the loading speed, still some might prefer this over your special combo, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about.  ^_^

Tanki's loading bar started as 'Green dots' in the demo version and later became 'loading bullets'. I personally liked the bullet one better but there was no way to tell how much longer you would be waiting for. :LOL:

Yep, I would prefer the bullets over the current ones while still having a picture that shows info just like we have now, bullets are more fun. I have seen quite a lot pictures, videos and they were all great. ^^

True, but the bullets were worse. It was the same action till you loaded in. Now it is a progress bar, somewhat accurate but I still know what you mean. :)
