Declined Idea to encourage careful use of supplies

Why not add a penalty for each use of a supply kit e.g. -10 crystals & -25 exp points. - The actual values need to be thought out by someone with a better insight into the game balance mechanics.

 

This would not be too onerous on people using kits when needed but would discourage the druggers running around constantly pounding the 1,2,3,4,5 keys.

 

I doubt if this will make it to the forum as this will threaten TO's revenue stream but its worth a go

Supplies are a gameplay feature. It doesn't make sense to penalise players for using it. Would you want to be penalised for every time you miss a shot? Or lose a flag? Or catch a gold? I don't think so.

Even worse, more of advantage for buyers - they use supplies non-stop, they have almost nothing to lose, while we, free-players use one or two, and even get penalized for it, total disadvantage. -25xp? Druggers, attention, drug and stay low rank, get better gear more easier.

yep thought as much - you need to encourage drugging to shaft the players even more.

 

You were deliberately obtuse in your response missing the point by more than a noob with his new magnum.

 

I expected a wailing and gnashing of teeth from the druggers but this confirms my suspicions about how the game is being steered towards short term revenue generation.

 

So no more ideas from here MAF but unlike Cedric at least you responded.

The title is rather misleading. Here I thought you wanted a new in-game-tip suggesting that players save their supplies, use them responsibly and use them when they're really required to. Often I find low rankers using Repair Kits when I'm about to kill them and then I kill them again lol. They're wasting 150 crystals to live for 3 seconds.
