Hum, it's not like this. Matchmaking system is based on sort of value ratings (value like the one currently in your green bar) and not on ranking. So ranks will not really matters.

i'm pretty sure when he says match making, it's about ratings and efficiency. Will see. You can be legend and still have M0 in your garage.

I know that it will be hard to do it, to find opponents but it seem to me like a good idea.

 

Another idea from CS:GO is the Competitve mode. In this mode 5v5 people fight without the ability to respawn until the enemy team is eliminated. This will be an awesome update to the TeamDeathmatch mode as I know that TeamDeathmatch isn't very popular in Tanki at all.

Hey, I have not been on TO for a while now, maybe played on some other small profiles once or twice between now and the time I Cedric Debono came here (<3 Semyon Kirov, always be with us).

I want to know what major things happened while I was gone, and whether I should just go straight to Tanki X (I hope they are still pondering a mobile version).

There is many examples and option of matchmakings system (MMS). TO will need to choose/create the most suitable and entertaining.

The "Prime Matchmaking" seems good, but there is so many combination of rank possible, you will need a large pool of player to accommodate this. I would see the MMS better work with the mastery level matching: if a team is set up with 4 M3 and one M2 the second team will have to match it.

In xp/bp, I see m2 beating m3 teams you can see that the wideness of the ranks is not an issue as the equipment is more or less leveled. I would prefer to see MMS like xp/bp or like the Arena concept 7v7 (one hull of each and 7 different turrets).

 

Rocket League is quite good, I like the fact that you have a new rating on regular basis after a certain amount of matched played. if your good you go to a higher league. If you're not good enough you go a league below. If you're doing ok then you stay where you are. It will definitely works for the DM mode, and could work in the team mode.

 

The CS:GO competitive mode, not sure it is good for TO, as we can usually die in one shoot. I don't like waiting for a game to restart either. but that's only my POV.

No, the test server is meant for testing of new updates and features, making it available to everyone would be pointless.

1) No, the test server is meant for testing of new updates and features, making it available to everyone would be pointless.

2) Clans will not become free or purchasable for crystals unless they adversely affect a clan from participating in eSports events. For now thats not happening. 

3) Spectator is a very powerful tool in TO, making it available for everyone would cause alot of abuse, so it's unlikely to happen.

Its a penalty designed to stop 'selfers' people who self destruct in order to boost their ranking in the game.
