Reject the battle which you just left from the "Battle!" system from joining again

Hi there.

 

Let's say I have a TDM mission and I didn't like the battle from the list (which currently is the only one available  -_- ).

When I leave it, delete it from the "list" of battles which will "Battle!" button send you to. It's really anjoying, I don't want to lose the mission and this way can somehow help me, save my time and bring another battles there.

 

Obviously, to not be able to abuse the system, it will disable only the last one you just left.

I think what lead you to that problem, is that there was only one battle available at all at that time.

 

If there is only _one_ battle.. then there are not enough players on that server + at that time, to open up another battle.

So the designers have to choose what to do in such a situation..

a: fill one battle with the players available, so that all can play

b: split those few players into two separate battles and noone will have fun.

 

I guess this will not be changed.

 

 

The reason why your idea is still under review, is because I do not know if the battle button put's you into the same battle over and over again, even if there are are multiple battles available at that time. Does anyone know that? I think the last time I clicked that button, was when it was introduced..

Well, how to end missions if no-one comes up for a fight? It's not my fault that I need to complete that mission.

I just left the battle that just ended and pressed the >Battle< button. It sent me into the same battle though there are at least 10 other battles that are just beginning out of 50 in total.

I think it only occurs in that particular server. Going to a different server is the only way that i can think of.

If it happens only once in a while, then it is most likely

- coded in a way that it should not do it

- but still does it seldom

- which is almost the description of a software bug :p

 

As we are facing a serious update on the way that players are assigned to battles, I think it is best to wait what we get (they told it comes this month - July 2017) and see how it behaves thereafter.

This is unnecessary for the current system because it is going away soon, but for Random Battles with Matchmaking it will be helpful, who wants to be sent to the same battle you just left again?

A few weeks ago, someone else was complaining about the same thing. It opened up a new battle for him, but no one else showed up, so he logged out of the battle. Hit the "Button" again x 3 and kept sending him back to the same map. Still no one showed.

Oh dear Mr Wasp that sounds like dissent in the ranks. Actually admitting that TO isn't getting enough players...

 

Be careful or you will receive a ban for saying things like that... BTW have you ever visited Siberia?   ;)

Siberia is for kids - in the winter I would sleep in the fridge over there, as the temperature is too warm for me B)
