Actually what he said is true, that topic is meant for players to ask whatever they want whether it is in game, off-topic, anything to the other players who are in there and for those who's nickname isn't there, definitely private messaging should do the trick which is why we have PM on the Forum. I don't see the reason behind this topic since you can't ask something you don't want others to see in here which is the more reason why PM are better.

At the same time, I was thinking about it before and whilst the AMA is great for getting to know people, it doesn't really allow for large groups of people to partake in discussions about things- in fact, it actually rather hinders things because of the question at the end, which rather decreases the range of responses that can be given. 

 

However I still think that this should probably be moved to conversation clubs, because that's where it belongs.

 

Also, why did you close my campaign topic? In terms of the rules, it's not actually lessening the forums quality at all and if you're going to allow the other campaigns to stay open, you gotta be consistent.

If I am not wrong, your topic isn't very useful. However I encourage you to use it as a forum game.

According to recent polls, none of those campaigns are useful, in fact, the entirety of off topic discussion has no real use other than as a time waster, so I think your point is rather null and void.

True, few are useful. MTGA and anti-MTGA certainly aren't. AMA is ok, this one is ok, footballer's and cricketer's corners are ok. But they are the few.

The reason why the forum is organized in sections and topics is to make it easier for players to find and join in specific discussions. Without such, the forum will be one big mess with discussions running through each other. Whereas the chat is meant for short conversations, the forum is meant for actual discussions on various aspects of the game and on other topics.
