Eventually there will be a breakthrough for the blue team.

"Eventually" = 10 - 2 win for Red.   Lather-Rinse-Repeat.

 

Only time I'd ever join Blue is if I needed a lot of xp for a mission.  Oh... wait...

Change the tag to started because developers are currently remaking Noise to support 10v10 for the matchmaking system

That will be Noise 2, probably. We need to remember that Matchmaking will not replace everything, PRO Battles will still exist with a different name.

Magnum is very powerful but is balanced by the fact it's hard to use even though I personally think it's OP whwn you do magnum-wasp only shooting in close range kill everything in two shots method. Magnum is the problem.

I prefer to play on blue, it is easier to capture a flag. Also magnum can be used just as effectively on blue, as said in the post above get magnum protection. Leave Noise as it is and learn how to play properly you fools.

Such a stupid cry post. Noise is in favour of red, okay I won't deny that. But all you need is magnum protection and you can easily counter all those stupid magnums. I have joined blue enought times and easily won. If anything, remove Magnum from Noise. But as that is not happening, let it stay like this.

I am a Noise player, I always play on this map and have always refused to play magnum, I have lost enough games on red. If anything, blue wins more simply because Isida vikings can dominate. Blue teams magnums can be as obnoxious as the mags from red, just because you get stomped by red magnums doesn't mean the whole map has to be reworked. It simply means you and your team are bad.

All equipment being equal - the map is heavily favored toward red. You can't change physics.

 

It is easier for red to use 3 ramps AND jump down from their base then it is for blue to drive up 3 ramps that can be easily blocked.

 

Your points are irrelevant.  Any competent team can hold the middle level and win.  Once you control middle you win the battle.

I bet you have never gone on noise with magnums in there because if you have trust me you would not even get the chance to move through to where you are talking about...

And we are talking about noise, not silence

I have. But if Reds have 4 Magnums, if Blues enter the Red base, it's difficult for them to defend and they keep selfing. Too much Magnum in Red team can lead them to lose.

All these kids crying about how its unfair... I play noise pretty often and its perfectly good... I ussually play blue and winnig is not a problem if you have a half deacent team. Just stop crying and go make friends or find a clan to play with.. with a clan we dominate noise when we are on blue.. you just need to know what you are doing.

Well if Noise 2 is going to be better and not magnum centered then no one will play Noise original and there is no reason to fix Noise original. The tag should be changed to started considering they are remaking noise, the title of this topic.

Because everything is not about crystals, at least for some players. Sometimes, it's nice to play a map you like, even tho you will not get more crystals.

 

Btw, of course Polygon CP provides more crystals. But Polygon CTF?

 

Don't compare two different modes ^^ Noise CP is good for crystals.

What if i joined a random blue side? It mostly looses cause of the favor to the red side.... Someone said that we can go up and kill magnums, yeah, we aint freaking buyers like you or moving around with premium and showing off. We are simple players who play tanki as their past time not their passion. + its hard to go up as u cant look up from below without having your turret faced up but you can look down without your turret being faced down, thus it is easy for people on more altitude to win.

Joined late, 3 Magnums in red team. We had only one, the first guy of our team and he was destroying all the red players. It was easy to capture flags.

No wonder. Magnum is OP but when so many of a team's players use it, the less chance of them winning - they only delay their defeat. (11k fund is proof of that)

It's this turret Magnum that spoils the gameplay in noise map, not map itself. Players just realized in which maps they can easily take an advantage with magnum and ruin the fun. And mostly you'll see magnum players in noise map. But I don't have problems just in Noise map, i have in many others where literally you can't hide from these players even at your base. Let's take for example Hill map. The map has no walls, platforms, anything. Both sides are sloping at some angle, and you cannot attack until you climb up uphill. So the only way to hide is to be near your flag. But magnum players completely ruined the map, now you can't be static in this map at all. Not to forget to mention other maps like Combe, Sandal, Highland. Its like those maps are perfeclty designed, totally meant for magnum players. When one team is dominating, other team always tries to defend as much as possible, but in maps that i mentioned a dominating team with at least one or two magnum users can easily break any defense, since they can shoot from no where from their base to the other base and damage most of the players, while their team members easily take over. Ability to shoot over walls and high damage makes it OP. Well i still don't know how is it in high ranks, maybe high ranked players don't hide at their base too much, they just attack, attack and attack. But i have experienced these problems, and i find this weapon really annoying.

It's not the turret - it's the map.  Magnum enhances the issue, but does not create it. The Map in not balanced.

 

Noise had issues long before Magnum was introduced. Magnum just made it worse. Striker had the same effect when introduced - the large damage and splash damage delivered from relatively safe position up above made it very hard for blue to go up the ramps. Even more so when a large hull was blocking the top and an Isida was healing it.  The Striker/Thunder (and now magnum) were raining death on the stalled attacker.

Noise might be okey for XP, but for regular battles, it's not very fun and balanced. Simple idea; edit the map by adding more blockages and more tunnels for more diverse gameplay.
