No damage randomly

Hi!

I was playing with my testing purpose account named freeze-mode with a rank of corporal.

Was playing sandal CP with freeze (2 MU) and Hunter (1 MU) and what happened was ridiculous.

 

While i keep spacebar pressed, my freeze would shoot and just for 1-2 seconds or more or even 0 seconds the enemy got damaged and after that enemy didnt receive damage. they kept on killing me and i couldnt do damage. I couldnt capture that point but I could pick up supply boxes.after 20 seconds or 30 seconds I could normally play and shoot, capture points etc... again in a minute or so, holding spacebar 1-3 seconds enemy would get damaged then no damage even if my freeze is shooting continuously. I receive damage, i can take supply boxes which are fallen on ground but cant capture points. Even nothing was lagging. ping was normal and healthy.

 

What was happening?

I tried self destructing too.

The fund was high like 700 for a corporal rank type battle and i had almost 734 xp and like 30 seconds were remaining and I couldnt support my team due to this ridiculous bug/glitch and fate gave me a final blow server connection closed

I was like, " Dude what is this ?! it was ok i loved this glitch wow yeah but what you popped up on my screen is just not acceptable. "

 

Now. Forget about the closed connection. Help me from that glitch/bug.

That problem is usually lag even if your ping is normal. You join a battle then you shoot, but the person that you shot's health doesn't decrease. To prevent this problem you can reload the page, disconnect and reconnect to your internet connection, close internet demanding programs(utorrent, skype, bitspirit) or internet demanding websites(BuzzFeed, Tumblr, Youtube) which will make your internet faster.

Are, That case i know. But what I typed i guess you didnt read it neatly.

I said the freeze would damage enemy for few seconds and then it wouldnt.

In lag case, the turret doesnt deal damage at all.

I would have come to know if it was lag when tanks roamed here n there, stretched isida biomolecules, rotating turrets but that wasnt happening. I could Pick up supply boxes and No lag. not even a ant sized lag too

I was playing in standalone flash player.

My laptop doesnt have: Internet explorer (Onle firefox which I killled as process) , no torrent clients, no feeds, nothing that can demand internet exept tanki game.

Actually in some lag cases, the Turret(s) does deal damage but not continuously which is something known, I'm guessing it never happened to you before which is why you think that in lag case, the Turret(s) does not deal damage at all.

 

There are some Turrets which has kinda same thing, dealing damage from time to time, for example Hammer even if you are not having any issues with the game whatsoever and many topics has already been created about them which I can list for you in case you want but the thing is that no one has ever said the same about Freeze, well not till now. How often does it happen and can you go and try playing and see if it happens every time you play? If it was one-time thing than I guess it is there, same as Hammer and few other Turrets. Having a small video of it would be appreciated when I will report it if it ever happens to you again unless it was one-time thing and will never happen again.

About the Camtasia, you can easily adjust the speed to make it slower or faster.  Important the media/video you want first, drag it, click on file and than click on Clip speed and there you can adjust it however you want.  :)

I played 3-4 battles same equipment. out of 3 complete 15 min battle, 2 battles had this problem all the 15 min with 2 minutes of normal gameplay and 1 battle complete normal gameplay no such glitch. Same ISP same internet everything same.

 

Cant record with any screen record application as fps drops to 3 :(

Freeze glitching like Hammer is a new to me as well so for now, I will leave the topic open and see if some other players are facing same issue with Freeze, the more people, the better. I will close it once I finish reporting it. Won't harm anyone if it stays and some others could have faced the same problem already or are still facing so yeah.

That's not a new bug, it's there for a while now and happend to almost everyone at least once. However, refreshing or self-destructing solves the issue. I would recomend you to do the same if this ever happen again.

Well if that fixes the problem than I would say yeah till they fix it. Or simply you can continue playing without dealing damage, the choice is yours so you know which one will benefet you most.

actually if u look from other perspective, this is good for parkour, you wont kill urself 100 times or use 100 repair kits trying to get on house

It would be good but let's keep in mind that the Turret he is talking about is Freeze and with Freeze, you can't deal any damage to yourself in any way.

This shouldn't be happening every round, try the method i gave above and see if you are facing the same issue again in every round, at least for me it never happen in every round after self-destructing. :)
