 An open game where your pieces are developed quickly. Not necessarily aggressive, but at the same time not passive. Just occupy the center.

     Surprised to see this actually. I'm a mad chess fan. I love playing the Sicilian Defense as black, although against 1. d4, I'd play the Nimzo-Indian with ...Nf6 and 2...e6.

I myself have just started playing chess once again. I have already done so 5 years ago. But I slowly lost the interest and time to improve myself, so I quitted playing after some years.

Hope playing with my dear uncle can help me since he used to be chess master of the German federal state of Baden-Würtemmberg.
