Interviewing SuperNick95

Hey guys, here's a noob unknown person, fe4f3 in your service! Today I'll be interviewing a former Administrator of Tanki, who has returned to us once again. He's @SuperNick95!

Hey SuperNick95, welcome to the interview. Could you please tell us a bit about yourself?
Hello, I am SuperNick and I come from Italy. I am 22 and currently study marketing and business administration at university. I am fond of Tanki and I have been with this community for the past 5 years. Besides that I play the piano, go skiing whenever I can and help out part time at the university's library.

Good, your life seems pretty interesting. Could you please tell us your real name and did you ever go out of the country for studies?
My real name is Nick and actually no if you mean a full year study experience. However I had minor experiences: I've been in Eastbourne, England for a summer school and in Tenerife, Spain for an astronomy project. In High School, I've also visited the United Nations Office at Geneva, as a part of a humanitarian project.

Please tell us about your Tanki career. Who made you to play this game? How did you find it and what made you love this game?
After some years of playing another browser game, one of my fellow clan members found this very cool game. It was really simple and we all liked it, so we all moved here. I immediately liked Tanki due to it being incredibly simple yet engaging at the same time. It was 2011 and the mechanics were much different from the ones we have today, but the core spirit of the game is still the same - fight and win!

What online games you play besides Tanki?
At the moment, none.
In the past I played Darkorbit, Seafight, World of Warcraft, League of Legends, World of Tanks and World of Warships.

It seems you know much about online games. So what do you think, what improvements should be made with Tanki?
Tanki has taken a lot of steps in the years I've been here. More or less most of the updates went into a good direction, for example daily missions, crystals for rank up and micro upgrades were all much needed updates. Outside-of-the-game updates also are good, there aren't many games with awiki, a newspaper and an eSports as developed as ours.
If I'd really have to think about something, maybe a system of quests could be added to the game. Along with daily missions, quests would provide greater tasks but easier to achieve than new ranks. In a proper sentence: giving the player medium term goals.
I'd also love to see integration between forum and game clans but that's really hard if not impossible.

About what things you wonder that happened in your absence?
Well it wasn't a real absence. I mean, I left the staff and didn't follow the forum for a while, but kept playing the game and followed the updates, the release of the new turrets etc. When I came back in the community I really didn't have to do any catch-up regarding the game.
Of course the thing I liked more are the turrets, they were much anticipated and it's always interesting when something new is brought to the game. Other updates I personally like are the reduction of micro upgrades prices, was needed for the game (I feel these were too high before, now they are more balanced), the new Legend "infinite" rank and alterations.
I dislike the removal of Isida's self healing capability and the separation between paints and modules, but we'll get used to it.

What made you return here as a Forum Clan moderator and what are your thoughts on the past, present, and future of this game.
I returned because the community has been through some shady times and I felt my experience could be useful for the recovery.
I believe I somehow already answered about past with my previous response, and the present looks kind of good to me. The community evolved and even the game looks more stable. For example, we don't have as any hackers and, in general, game troubles as we had in the past. I think this is good and due to the good solutions implemented by the developers' team: game battle mods, improved anti-cheat system, etc. Some updates may be questionable but after all we're heading to a good direction.
The future therefore looks bright, and for it I look forward to even more maps and weapons and more functions for game clans.

As an old player and staff member, do you still have your friends here and would you like to reveal their names to us?
Lol, obviously. Most people I knew at the time are still here. Not going to mention names of all of them, there are really many of them. Just starting from the fellow colleagues, joostcool, The Legend, Mr.Latvian, arakelyan, Ostrica, Yele, etc. Too many.

For how long will you stay here with us?
Well as much as possible. :)

At the last of interview, what would you like to say to our community, your lovers, your fans, and those who hate you?
I'm glad to be back! I hope you will enjoy the new eSports concept we are preparing and well, the most classic thing: see you in the battle! :)

Thanks for your interview, Nick!
We hope you enjoy your life. Good luck in every field!

Approved!

Edits:

- 4 typos corrected.

- 1 grammar error ("How did you find it?" not "How did you found it?").

Very interesting. I personally had no idea about who this "new" eSports Moderator was, so I definitely feel enlightened after reading this. A very nice interview!

Nice formatting and your usage of colours is notably good (we don't like bright flashy colours around here).

Wow. Pleasant. I had the luck to explore every job in tanki staff but reporter

He is so

It's just that answering PMs is just one of the tasks. For example, if you appreciate being answered in the Q&A topic well that takes up time
