So this was a bit disappointing I have to admit.

Still haven't figured out which servers are the most appropriate for my rank... working on it.

I usually play on RU servers, but today was just ugh. I played three hours of Poly CP battles. I don't think my team won a single one. I joined winning teams - some ahead by 20-30 points, then inevitably the reverse would happen and no matter how hard I tried we always lost, usually by a lot.

 

Bad luck day? Maybe. Time will tell.

 

Battle chat was a wake up call too. I had players fussing at me in Russian. Doesn't normallly happen even on old RU servers.

Fully agree with you. Playing with EN players is a headache, they can't even run their tank properly. Today I joined 18 battles and guess what, I lost all battles from winning position. Bad Luck for me today so far :(  My foot salutes you stupid EN mults and noobs :angry:

Tanki need to hire some marketing people.

I've been thinking the exact same thing for a long time. Tanky really needs to change the mindset of "It is our game, we can do as we please, you deal with it," and start dealing with players as if they were real people.

 

I don't know about the Russian context, and maybe for Russia they are doing alright. But if they want to do business in the Western world, they had better hire somebody who knows about the market and can make a good marketing plan and set reasonable prices in the Shop, instead of keeping their attitude of "We want same money from American player than we get from Russian player; therefore American player plays double." Most of the items in the European shop are simply overpriced. €1 for 1,500 crystals? That's ridiculous. My hunch is that if they bothered to actually study the European market and price their items accordingly, they would get more money overall than what they get by sticking to the policy that Tanki needs to get the exact same money, so American player pays all the extra cost.

 

After the livestream, I was really excited about the matchmaking system and Tanki's finally migrating to html5. I was even considering buying something for Tanki's birthday. After merging the servers I ask, why? 90% of the players that I will find on the battlefield can get the same thing twice as cheap, and I can't even communicate with them. You might as well get rid of the English community altogether.

EN players are skill wise equally good as Russians, its just they are not used to using supplies as soon as their cooldown is over.

+ skill wise most of the EN players are equal or even better but they lack good equipment to match the russians. Most of us do not have enough supplies to compete in a full drug fledged war(which is happening in almost every single battle). and suppose even if we have 2 m4 combos still we lack variety to those who got full M4 garage

There are 24 servers to choose from. I'm sure you'd find at least one server with decent battles at your rank.

You can find battles where you are highest ranker, but even then low ranked druggers can dominate.

I had to drug very hard against a Lt. Colonel today to get a win for my team.

 

These low rankers now have m2 10/10 equipment + modules against the good turrets like rail, thunder, smoky.

With an attitude like yours I would not be surprised if people joined your team armed with wasp M0 and smoky M0 :D :lol:

And... legends seem to be in all servers. Lots of time wasted jumping from server to server to find compatible game for missions.

 

Hopefully a pattern sorts itself out after a while where similar ranks self-regulate to specific servers like previously.

This is because we have no one to match to us, and having a player population that is shrinking, adds to that fact. If we don't get any crystals, we're not going to get any sort of good equipment. We're going to have to go to Tanki X, waste our money to do it all over again, and again.

Gameplay is going to be worse because because there will be a severe lack of communication.

Alot of players are not going to speak the same language.

3. On the live Q&A Cedric questioned why should we take so long to find teh right match, spending on average 4 to 24 minutes to find the right match. Well, it is worse now.

There are others too.I used to play another online flash game.After 3 or 4 year they got more money hungry than this game is now.I was a non-spender there.So,in the end I had to quit after playing more than 2 years, almost everyday in that game.Looks like I have to quit here too.And I blv that would all normal non spenders would do eventually.About time.

 

With the normal players gone most of the big spenders quited too.Because they got no one to bully.so,what they did in there ? omg its the  same,they merged some servers together,so there would be more big spenders in the same servers ,so they would have someone to compete against.So,the devs would get their cash flow coming.And what happened to the non-spenders who left ? who gives a bit ? The sea is full of fishes ,they just have to give the right bait.

Well, this merging is a preparation for the upcoming matchmaking system which should solve at least the 2nd and 3rd point of the problem you raised.

The server merge update is terrible. Too many Russian druggers/buyers in battles now and filling up battle chat with words I can't read. Also I've been getting a lot more "An error has occurred" since this update.
