What is a "hard player"? You mean a player with legit skills?

I was cursed at and called a Russian …(<-- insert swear word here) because I drugged.

Take it as a compliment. Russians may drug, but they are also very skilled.

It just amused mehow surprised the guy was when I spoke English. And the fact that he was the last in a battle, playing with m0s

During peak hour, I observe :-
EU1 = XP/BP server
EU2 = non-drug PRO battles server
EU3 = drug server
EU4 = newly-acquired M3 equipment server
EU5, EU6 and so on ... = low rankers server.

I wish EU2 also XP/BP server too :P

Play according to your rank in specific servers & hope you will find more battles.

No need to mention his equipment. Maybe he was seeing how good he really is with using only M0. I know I am trying that on an alt.

 Guess I didn't think of it that way. But he was harsh, saying I should die in real life..etc...  :lol:

Try playing a few games without using supplies.

Maybe you will understand his feelings, although I do agree that he should not have expressed himself in such a manner.

This is definitely lopsided. EN players don't drug. A majority of the RU players do. I was just in a battle and I happened to end up on a team that was mostly EN. We were fighting against a majority of RU players who are generous in supply use. My side was not drugging to even things out.  I was, but it was futile.

It's not fun.

Tanki will eventually lose its EN community because of this 'unification' - and the dollars that go along with that community.

Don't worry, you'll still have your rubles.

Talk about a cut in pay....

This is less a problem of communities, but more a problem of the supply system as it is now.
Sorry for your bad experience.

Unfortunately this is what you will face more and more, the higher you rank up (no matter in which community); and therefor I can only suggest you try pro battles. As long as the dev's keep the supply system as it is today, that's the only place left to go.

^this is how the RU community split up their servers in the past years
As expected nothing changed there

I wish EU2 also XP/BP server too :P

Most of the people that played xp/bp on EN1 and EN2 can now be found on EU5 ;)

See it from the positive side:
If you play pro battles, a typical, small buyer is not much stronger then a non buyer (they just have more equipment, but not necessarily stronger equipment).
Drugs can be switched off.
And if you face strong players, then you get better yourself.

Fortunately, I don't have to, and neither does anyone else. I can simply walk away since the enjoyment of this game is now waning.

Thanks Tanki, it was fun while it lasted.

Pro battles are usually 4v4 or less. I like large battles 8v8 or more but they never fill up in Pro.

and they can be massive jerks because I played with them with my m2 and their m3 and they almost all the time used to push me, use abusive words and then  tell me to leave.

What abusive words? Don't they type in Cyrillic?

Well there goes chat in battles.  95% of the time I'm in with Russians.

Who possibly thought that merging communities in an international game needs sacking.

Takes loads longer now to find a good pro battle unless i want to play poly CP or XP/BP or a one sided noise.

Tanki just finding new and improved ways to ruin this game.

Sure you do :)
If you like to play from time to time, you can also start over, just to have an account to pass the time. In lower ranks a lot of tankis problems are not so noticeable.

I would recommend to play on EU5 - there you'll find more battles where your M2s are accepted.
Generally your will have less of that issues (with English players as well btw) the more you stick to battles that suit your rank.

Good luck!

I have. Russians drug there, too. They purchase a package at recruit level and use it at that same level. So all I do now is look for battles and join the side that has JI somewhere in their names.

Aaaaaaaand, I set up a nice minefield and I get the re-enter error. You sure this Re-enter Error is a bug an not a feature? It's like a random hyperspace jump that can occur at any time, even when just joining a battle.

This on the other hand, get's better the higher you rank.

Better as in what?

Interresting that drugs are an issue at lowes ranks now as well.

With the last recruit I started I had no issues at all.. but of course it was a few weeks before the server merge.

@"better in higher ranks"

Pro battles tend to fill better.. and there are more of them around.

Except we still can't complete weekly missions there.

My Pro-Pass expired over a week ago. If I find there is time to play more than just completing missions I'll think about buying it again.

Not really impressed with server merge - have not noticed any time-savings when looking for suitable battles.

These M2 noobs don't know how to play this game. Just play non-PRO battles for missions, rest of the time spend on XP/BP battles or in PRO CP battles, this is enough to farm crystals. Jumping in drug battles will make you suffer & Russians will rout you mercilessly. Change your EN server thought now. World is changing & you should change accordingly.

Just gonna leave this here since their is a discussion about drug battles

Tanki's players counter no longer goes above 40k

around Feb it used to reach 50k

before new years it used to reach 70k

a year ago it used to reach 90k even 100+ on a good day or a celebration day

Tanki's decision makers need to start being honest with themselves and the players, drug battles and the awful updates are killing this game (not less ads as was claimed, no more ads can account for fewer new players not for the reduction of over all players count, the game should at least be able to sustain its players count without ads)

This game won't sustain much & with this noob expressionless CM @Cedric Debono, who dislike those players criticizing their lame activities, this game lost the connection between players and developers as soon as @semyonkirov left.

Earlier, developers do care about players' welfare & took negative views serious & tried to rectify or change the path to make it player-friendly, and now they are releasing one update after another without taking note whether players like it or not, simply a lack-lustre and careless approach from them.They lure some moderators with few crystals deal to look after players while they are fishing or smoking around the world. In reality, its the players who make the game alive in this world.

If you axe your own foot, it will make the entire structure fall down. The faster you understand, the more you will gain.

BUT IF WE WANT TO DO MISSIONS WE CANT JOIN PRO BATTLES!

If we don't do missions, then we lose out on:

Gold boxes

Supplies

Large amounts of crystals

Free XTs

Etc...

There is literally no counter for drugs, apart from drugging back. 95% of druggers have fully MU'd equipment, and even if they don't have the skills to turn turrets, their ability to press 3 -> 2 -> 1 makes up for it any day...

You don't even have to buy much. 1500 supplies kit is 550 roubles, which Steam tells me is about £11.50. That is pretty much pocket change, in fact I have double that floating around in my wallet at any given time. That will last 50-100 battles, which can take someone up as much as 50-100k xp.

As for merging the servers, I think it clinches the prize for the worst DEvolution in Tanki's long, complicated history...

Edit: Can I also point out that as soon as we get a string of bad updates, (Eg mission update), Tanki miraculously brings in some totally new, popular things (eg the return of Moon Silence)...? Almost like they are trying to distract people or something...

Reminds me of Animal Farm, if anyone has read it...
