yes, that's crap. This update truly cut my income hard.

It's sad to be forced to play something players to not like (large non pro battle amount states that clear enough) in order to earn the same amount as other players.. so I simply skipped it. My time is to precious to me, to play the game inthe way I do not like it

("and when you finally kill them, they drug a health kit. It eaaaats your soul -.-" :D)

 

On the other hand, other free players don't get much of a revenue from missions anyways. The "drugs spend -vs- drugs gained" ratio seems to be a very good ratio > for Tanki, and not for the players.

On the other, other hand, buyers that purchase drugs anyways, profit even more from this update. They can dominate battles as the free players have less supplies now, and they can earn 3 missions a day if they drug well, and so keep up mission chains.

 

Hmm.. sounds not good.

Did I make a mistake in my point of view?

 

 

My Pro-Pass expired over a week ago. If I find there is time to play more than just completing missions I'll think about buying it again.

Not really impressed with server merge - have not noticed any time-savings when looking for suitable battles.

For me it's a bit easier.. but not much.

I would still preffer a unified lobby (all battles of all servers displayed ad once, and you can filter what you like to play). But this is not compatible with an introduction of a matchmaking system.. maybe in a later stage but never in the start. So I guess.. I have to go on like it is :P

BUT IF WE WANT TO DO MISSIONS WE CANT JOIN PRO BATTLES!

 

If we don't do missions, then we lose out on:

Gold boxes

Supplies

Large amounts of crystals

Free XTs

Etc...

as I wrote in my post above.. I think currently you do not lose so much.

• Gold boxes are fun but rare. How many do you get per week?
• Supplies: you spend about the amount that you get as mission reward.. no gain.
• Crystals: to me it looks that the rewards are not thaaaat high any more. I go to pro battles and earn my crystals there.. works too and makes more fun to me (specifically for me, freel free to feel different about that)
• Free XTs: I've a legend account, and since I became Gismo I never, never, never ever got an XT mission. And if you get it, you have to play for about a month to have the amount of kills. There is nothing free here, you pay with your time. And supermissions have a damn high "price".

So.. over all you "pay" 1..2 h a day for maybe 4 golds per month, and a very, very tiny chance to get an XT.

Honestly.. mow the neighbors lawn in 1 hour once a month, earn 5 USD/EUR and purchase 5 golds.

 

The rest of your time you can play what you like. Same outcome :)

Crystal rewards from missions can get you around 25k each week. If I'm not busy that is about a third of my weekly income. Sure, it's not huge, but it matters.

I'll just say that I am still able to do missions quickly (15 - 30 mins max) with barely using any drugs, even super missions (just finished one today)

There are ways around the current drugs based missions system, my supplies count is still increasing despit it, not that I care much about that since I am a no drugs battles player

Maybe your mission rewards are way higher then mine, but I only see about 800..900 crystals per mission.

If I calculate with 21 missions a week and 50% of them atr crystals, then I end up with about 10k per week.

But as said above - if you like it, go for it and enjoy :)

Edit: Can I also point out that as soon as we get a string of bad updates, (Eg mission update), Tanki miraculously brings in some totally new, popular things (eg the return of Moon Silence)...? Almost like they are trying to distract people or something...

Well I recently got a 500xp for 3k crystals mission...

 

And my point is not that I have to do missions, its that before, I could enjoy playing PRO battles, whilst SIMULTANEOUSLY doing my missions. Now its one or the other, and missions seems more logical...

 

P.S. The specific part of Animal Farm I was referencing was when, after a while, the animals have all forgotten about Snowball, and Napoleon manages to convince them all that he was actually a traitor and a coward.

Just gonna leave this here since their is a discussion about drug battles

 

Tanki's players counter no longer goes above 40k

 

around Feb it used to reach 50k

 

before new years it used to reach 70k

 

a year ago it used to reach 90k even 100+ on a good day or a celebration day

 

Tanki's decision makers need to start being honest with themselves and the players, drug battles and the awful updates are killing this game (not less ads as was claimed, no more ads can account for fewer new players not for the reduction of over all players count, the game should at least be able to sustain its players count without ads)

Out of the 30k odd players they claim are online, 90% are not playing battles and in are looking in chat..

At any given time, I don't think there are more than 3000 players playing this game now.

I loled inside when they claimed that it was a step towards the match making system, it's pretty obvious that it's not, it's been done because there are less and less players in every server, it's become very hard to find battles that the player actually wants to play in

 

Match making would work fine if the servers remained separated and the players count was high like before

They increased the mission objectives, not the rewards. Rewards stay same like in past. Earlier, 50 kills gave me 3150 crystals and now 100 kills for same. Stupid Tanki want us to drug to achieve objectives.

I have noticed increased use now but i think that is because i used to play in the EN servers but now I am playing mainly against Russians whose drug use is possibly higher.

The server merging has caused tons more problems than it actually solved. It is very difficult to play now because of the extreme lag in battles. I have turned off all extra graphics an done everything I can to try an stop it, but now your servers are have what feels like 5 times the Lag.

So < 10000 crystals / week from completing daily missions.

 

Last two server re-sets.... 3 supply rewards. Switch one - another supply reward.  x 2.

Yes last week I started looking for a new game. Found many candidates and am playing just one of them now. My time on Tanki is dropping. Was like pulling teeth today to finish just one mission per account. The end is nigh.

These days I rarely feel like playing more after missions are done. Not enough to offset the cost of buying that thing.

 

These M2 noobs don't know how to play this game. Just play non-PRO battles for missions, rest of the time spend on XP/BP battles or in PRO CP battles, this is enough to farm crystals. Jumping in drug battles will make you suffer & Russians will rout you mercilessly. Change your EN server thought now. World is changing & you should change accordingly.

I don't need to farm crystals. I get more CR than I can spend from daily missions. And I am changing witht he times. As the owners make Tanki less fun I play it less.

Tanki's owners lie to us all the time. It is one of the major reasons I will never spend money on their game again. I have bought my last Gold Box.

In my experience since the pair of +10% bumps to daily missions most missions I get are for over 1,000 Cry each. If not they are in the high hundreds. probably over 80% of my income is from missions not from grinding.

The problem with Tanki is not the free players cannot compete, the problems with Tanki lie elsewhere and are legion in number. There is no profit to listing them as Tanki will not correct them. But i am enjoying watching Tanki squirm in its death throes. We need to get a death  pool going" When Will Tanki Perish?   :lol:

My old missions from the time around the update gave around 900 crystals for 250 xp.

Today I got one that gives 3900 crystals for 500 xp.

 

Let's see if this keep as rewarding now.

(it would be about time as the former rewards were simply not worth the effort, if you do not like to play those drugged battles anyways)

I have been laging alot more after the server merging... and I experience problems like my turret wo'nt stop spinning even after i stop pressting my turning keys... my shots doing no damage at all, forcing me to leave the game and try to re enter... or my tank continuing to move until i fall off the map despite me having already let go of the controls... but it's all worth it! my k/d has only been rising each and every day since the server merging... previously alot of noobs who only join wining teams and never join losing ones made it hard for those losing to turn the tide... now these noobs find themselves thrashed by even the russians on the losing side, forcing them to leave the battle to save their overall k/d. also, lots ofenglish players only use drugs in battles where no one else is using them, so as to maximise the effect and get as much score and kills for themselves as possible. they pull out of battles where there are too much other drugers, good luck if they can find battles for them to take advantage of now! ^_^

Cuz when I try to do my missions it's hard to avoid Gismos and Legends that use a lot of RKs - basically every time you damage them.
it's very difficult to survive long enough to get anything done in normal battles without using RKs. So they get depleted fast as we don't get as many "free" RK as we do other supplies.

Every day I change 1 supply mission hoping for some extra crystals. I usually end up having 2 missions that will give me some crystals as a reward and each gives usually 1,5k. Maybe one of them gives 2,5k from time to time...

 

Btw, this happened to me 2 days ago:

 

 

 

15-20 minutes of playing for more than 10k crystals...
