STRIKING realization about TOPICS in the Off-Topic Discussion forum!

All the smoking hot topics ask a VAGUE and BROAD question in the title! Due to the lack of repeat USERS on these forums, these topics thrive, unlike all the interesting "spam" topics, such as THIS one!

 

I remember the days when we had more VARIETY than an American school cafeteria. We also had a thing called FUN discussions in those days. Filled with creative pictures and a lack of in-game screenshots that use MORE filters than an 18-year-old-girl's Twitter uploads. Topics lasted more than 24 hours, and RARELY had a topic. We found something to discuss, then had fun in them!

 

Log on, post in the SAME big topics as the prior day, log off, repeat. That's our life as residents of the Tanki Online forums. A wise man once said INSANITY is doing the same thing over and over again. It sure looks like we've hit the GOLDMINE of insanity in here.

 

There is a need to re-establish creativity and variety before it's too late, or the ZOMBIES will start living among us. We've got no brains for them to eat, or Raisin Bran. But that might mean WE are the mindless zombies? I'll leave that for those with brains to decide.

My advice to you? Go outside, and get some FRESH air. Because BOY does everyone here need some. These topics are so stale and over-bumped that they've started to ROT and smell like curry! I haven't seen anything this bad since visiting the nearest apartment building in my city! 

 

Now go, make some USEFUL useless posts, and save this place before it falls any deeper in the ROTTING hole we live in. Make Cedric proud!

 

 

Watch them change my text colour, too. Because no one remembers the LEGACY attached to it.

There is no need of ranting here. Everyone's doing what they want, and they're enjoying it. This is just a useless topic, spreading nothing but hate towards the game.

I hate to agree but hhgb is right. The forum is dead compared to what it used to be. Yes before there was lots of 'spam' and 'useless posts' but that was fun reading and commenting to. Most of the time players would create discussion topics inside of completely different discussion topics. :LOL: You don't see anything like that anymore, too many rules or maybe they are enforced too harshly. I don't know.

It's something most of the 'old' tankers feel. The community kinda changed over time... For better or worse. If you joined recently you don't know how it used to be here before, and if you did join a couple of years ago ,you know what has changed. It's something that's a part of life and it happens everywhere. Perhaps it's not bad to share this experience.
