I figured the AW section would be the best place to post this topic.

 

It is now my time to create a "leaving Tanki" post. However, this isn't quite an ultimatum, it is more of a notice that I am pretty much done with the game. There are a few reasons, and I will go ahead and explain them. The first- time. I just graduated high school, and will now be off the grid all summer. Then, I have a few weeks until I start college, where I will be going into Engineering. To give myself the best chance at making it through Engineering school, I have to drop a few distractions, with Tanki being one of them. Of course, I will log in every now and then to get rid of some stress, but there has to be limits. Tanki was a major distraction for me in high school, but you can make it through high school with major distractions. The second is a bit more simple- the game has lost my attention. It has recently failed to captivate me like it has in the past. However, I do recognize the fact that many of the most recent updates have been awesome, and I like the direction it is going. But still, it has gotten old and not as fun as other games.

 

I enjoyed Tanki while it was fun, and would like to thank everyone in the forum. I kept playing for way longer than I would have without logging into the forum, and it made the game more interesting. My two favorite sections were the clan page, where I led a clan for around a year, and the AW section. It gave me a place to keep my writing in check while I did not have an English class. It is always nice to be recognized as a "distinguished writer", when my average grade for an essay is around an 80-85. Thank you to all of the AW mods who kept this section up, and a special thanks to goldrock and night-sisters for founding the section and giving me numerous helpful writing suggestions.

I wish you the best of luck Jwimmer wherever life takes you, and thank you for being a part of AWC for so long. We will surely miss you, but life goes as it goes and all of it is for a reason. So farewell!  :)
