New " Leaving Tanki Online forum ".

Declined

We allow players to create topics to announce that they are leaving. Such topics are then closed after a few days, or after they stop getting replies. A whole new section for this purpose is unnecessary.

I support this idea, a topic like that will help us remember all the players that left and even those that come back. It can even be helpful to devs, because they'll know why people leave, and if they really left.

Not sure if this has been suggested before, but I would like a delete account button in the settings.

Lol, I would hack in the admin's account, authorize myself to be the admin, then delete that admin's account *evil laugh here*

What's the point in having a delete account button? Just change the password to some keyboard gibberish, such as "kdbgkxnwpqme", unlink your email, and don't write down the password :P

For once, I disagree with you about the "declined" tag. While the idea itself isn't particularly important, I think it is a valid idea to create a special forum section devoted to players leaving. It would be a lot easier to keep track of who leaves, as well see why they do.

I did this to a few of my older alternate accounts.

Thanks for the great idea!

I'm going to try this out.

This may be the last post I make!

haha I did it!

Wrote a complicated password like a6bgd789 on piece of paper, put it in password, and then re-entered password, and the click go.

Then I threw the paper in dustbin.

Also, I deleted the gmail account associated with this account (i made the gmail account only for this), so I can't get back the account now even if I send e-mail to help@tankionline.com.

Edit:

Somehow I'm still able to post in forum, though I can't login to the game.

Alright, I see your point. We actually already have a topic like that for mods, so I see no reason why we can't have a topic for players as well. Definitely not a section though.

Can forum mods make sections or Forum admins ?
