invalid Move 'Events' to the lobby for easier access

I know you can just go and check the forum and read about events for I think it would be better if you could check them directly at the lobby, see the rules and the rewards, and in how many time does it start every event, and the link when it is ready. I'm not saying this is high priority I know devs have more important things to do but just a thought

The lobby lacks some features, that a forum html page can easily cover.

The sheer amount of text, with all rules and timelines and such on will make the news topic in the lobby extremely hard to read.

 

The forum is a good platform for news topics.

 

If we would relieve forum mods from the work, we would just load the chat mods - but not only in the same amount, but multiple times more (as in the forum at least some tend to read the first 2 pages for answers, while the chat is volatile)

 

I actually think that the current system is very useful; especially if the forum topics host a Q&A or FAQ post right beneath the announcement.

I mostly agree with your idea, and will discuss it with our Community manager.

What will be displayed tho, will probably be a bit different. Event, time, equipment and reward could definitely be on, but other rules would still be posted on forum. Also, posting link will stay on Facebook.

If those events are revealed in game, everyone will receive notifications, and it would be quite impossible to join any events due to the massive amount of players even if the link isn't within the announcement.

Then you just need to be quicker than others. Are you saying events aren't meant for everyone, because it would make it harder for others?

That's not anyone's fault. Events are still meant for everyone, as everyone can go open Facebook and join one.

in the announcements section in the lobby, whatever is posted on the fb page can be posted, with 'learn more on the forum'

Isn't that the point of events? To allow more players to join and earn crystals. Or, is it related only to a specific group of regular tankers?
