Remove automatic flood ban for countdowns in battle chat

 Share

Recommended Posts

Me and my friends were playing  hide and seek in silence. the seeker started counting..

Seeker: 1

Seeker: 2

Seeker: 3

Player Seeker has been banned for 1 hour. Reason: Flood

So I suggest that flood bans for counting and anti clockwise counting (3,2,1) should be stopped ASAP.

like if u like this idea.

It brings me memories such as when I got banned for making a countdown (3,2,1,GO!) before starting a XP/BP duel.

I can't understand which kind of floos it was/is.

Ya.

Not if the system accepts only 1,2,3 and 3,2,1. That would be fine.

right :D

Wondering why can't you just say 'GO!'?

Alternate:

Ready?

Go.

no plis, you guys were probably kids before right ? did you EVER play hide and seek ? the seeker counts to a no. (eg.20-0) and during that time all have to hide.

How about this:

Put a period after each number, for example:

3.

2.

1.

I did that in battle from 10>1 and didn't get a ban

Then I did 3 2 1 without a period and got banned for 1 hour. Yay.

Lot of players will flood a lot if this is removed.

As said above, some players would most likely abuse this to spam the chat and thus prevent other users from having normal conversations.

Alternate:

Ready?

Go.

This is the way to go if you want to avoid getting banned. Besides, it's much more simple and there is no need for unnecessary numbers. Saying "Ready? Go!" has the same effect as "3, 2, 1, Go!" and it's much easier for others to follow the chat.

What works (and is also proven by clans trainings) is to say "go at battle timer 13:00". Of course you need a battle with active time limit, to see a battle timer.
