Double Funds For Tomorrow, oh yeah !   :D

Time for wasp/fire

But DBF only available in non-pro Battles so no point using Wasp/Fire in a random battle.

well my friend, there is a LOT that you don't know !

I can bet you I've Fire/Wasped more than you, try me. If you plan to do it in a normal battle using the Battle button, that would take a really long time.

I'm not a Fire+Wasp user, but I know -- thanks to @DarkOperative -- that if you find yourself in a server with no battles available at your rank and you click "Battle," the system will automatically create one for you.

So, with this in mind, I came to the conclusion that if you got a bunch of friends willing to do Fire+Wasp with you, you can all go to a server "not designated" for your ranks, click on "Battle" with only the DM filter on, and there you go: a new DM battle just for you and your buddies! You can now all enjoy yourselves until somebody joins in to ruin the fun, which, I suppose, can be considered as a rare possibility because you all are in a server not frequented by players of your rank. :)

Yeah I know but that is far too cluttered. In a pro battle F/W match, you can disable Weapon Change to prevent people cheating when the fund gets too high (not a rare occurrence) and the other problem is that the match has a kill cap of 100 kills or 15 minutes which won't really get much of a fund. DM also has one of the worst funds but if you choose CTF/CP, the teams will most likely be too big and ruiners may join.

As I dislike getting into arguments, it bugs me though how (at least from my point of view) the issues you pointed out seem fairly solvable. :)

In a pro battle F/W match, you can disable Weapon Change to prevent people cheating when the fund gets too high (not a rare occurrence)...

As I previously partially mentioned, get with a group of "friends" and/or tankers you are in good terms with to avoid any betrayals.

... and the other problem is that the match has a kill cap of 100 kills or 15 minutes which won't really get much of a fund.

Play more rounds.

DM also has one of the worst funds...

Play more rounds.

... but if you choose CTF/CP, the teams will most likely be too big and ruiners may join.

The number of players a map can host is invariable no matter the battle type.

I'm not trying to get into an "argument" I'm simply pointing out that it is very limited if you choose to play F/W matches like that.

As I previously partially mentioned, get with a group of "friends" and/or tankers you are in good terms with to avoid any betrayals.
Friends can turn quite quickly, trust me.
Play more rounds.
What I'm trying to establish is that playing in non-pro battles is far less efficient.
Play more rounds.
You're not getting great value by doing that, though.
The number of players a map can host is invariable no matter the battle type.

True.

Lel we probably have pretty different methods of making friends on Tanki. ^_^

Sure, I do agree attempting Fire+Wasp in public battles does indeed have all its drawbacks. But considering the options given by the fact that DBT is only applied in non-PRO battles, there isn't much choice in the end if one wants to take advantage of the limited event. And one can always try; if this thing does not work, figure out something else. :)

Anyway, everything I stated is mainly subjective and all hypothetical, as I am just rationalizing and do not have any real experience regarding Fire+Wasp battles. :P

I know that it can work in non-pro battles but it lacks organising, structure and reliability; the things that F/W battles are built on. Most of my "friends" are "trusted" but it's friends-of-friends that may not often be trustworthy. Over the course of doing various events, people tend to take things far too personally and hold grudges. It's something you just can't avoid.

I'm intrigued by the map changes to Silence (I forget the other one). Making all battles 10x10 seems questionable. Larger maps like Kungur and Soliamsk (pardon spelling) may become less interesting with fewer players.

I also continue to struggle with the concept of the Battle button. I can count on one hand the number of times I've used it to create a battle and actually play to the end. 99% of the times I've used it, I just leave after two minutes when no one else joins.

so seeing this will change the maps sizes what will now happen for the larger maps will they be a thing of the past or will they also be joining match making , would hate to see them go cause there way better then  what your planing . smaller maps less players to battle with less chances to do TDM battles , also other battles will now be way to easy to cap or flag battles . think about leaving battles to 10 players on both sides of teams , way more intense to battle with . see if you have a battle with 5 on each team what can happen is you kill off 3 then your left with 2 on 5 battle to take flag / point , there is less players to defend the base and way to easy to loose the match,

This Q&A with Cedric revealed his total lack of vision and his insult of pro-battle players; the players that rely on skill instead of drugs.

No thanks, Cedric, I am not interested in your total lack of vision and lack of inspiration.

^ unnecessarily harsh.

Moreover Cedric's vision or lack thereof regarding game mechanics is irrelevant. He's the community manager and not involved in a game mechanics in any way. As a CM, I've found his vision superior to his predecessor.

Harsh?

I only apologize for naming Cedric. Of course, I meant the developments Tanki is heading for.

Pro-Battle has been boycoted now since the start of this year.

It is time for all pro-battle players and pro battle fans to unite and let themselves hear loud and clear:

We want pro battle to remain as it is, with missions for pro battles, crystals for pro battles etc. equal to noob drug battles.
