Highland (Highland I) is still nicer map than the second version..

I like Highland II more. More space and camping spots.

I liked the strategy at both sides of the Highland CTF games, especially defending with mines and such tactics on the red team.

This would be an interesting change, to be honest.

Additionally, from my experience in the test server, I wouldn't recommend 10vs10 TDM battles in maps like Deck-9 and Ping-pong...it's a nightmare.

Sandbox TDM 8v8 is nice tho

My guess is that Noise isn't as popular as Silence and/or fixing balance on Noise would be more difficult. Let's face it - Noise was always quite unbalanced and making it balanced as well as expanding it to fit 20 players would take a lot of effort.

No, just balance it at the least. I mean, I have a point. Blue on noise is more of a death trap than red will ever be on silence

That was in the past...

Noise is more popular

And if devs managed to balance it, its popularity might increase more

My idea was to make that indent in the wall on blue team into a tunnel system of some sort for blue base

Both team can win in Noise. It all depends of the players.

Noise is probably one of the most balanced maps in the game right now.

Both sides have an advantage when it comes to flags

  • Blue side has the advantage when taking the flag and jumping into the blue base.
  • Red side has the advantage of getting to blue base faster but its harder to get out of the base with the flag.

In my opinion...

Red side has a greater advantage on noise because being able to jump into blue base so quicly makes it possible to return where as on blue side it would take much longer for all blue players to get to the top of reds base.

I hardly see blue win because red has control over at least 75% of the map.

I mainly play Noise in XP. But when I do in normal battles, blue can easily win when we have Freeze in base. + Isida. It is almost impossible to get away with the flag, especially in non supplies battles.

Not true. Get an isida duo to go in, most likely fail half way back to base. Attention will be on them, so have a hornet or wasp on stand-by to take flag once it gets returned. Easy get away.

That's because of noobs that always return the flags, no matter what. They have no idea how tactic works. Sometimes, it's best to wait before returning the flag.
