Declined Open World

We all enjoy playing Tanki in closed/cut off environments, but imagine Tanki without map limitations. You could roam a huge world with friends. The world could be made out of destroyed buildings, hills, mountains and different regions each with different attributes. It could have outposts or buildings that are a cease-fire zone. Using the same weapons you have now or start over it would be a challenge because you aren't limited to small or medium maps. The fun would never end because there are dangers around every corner.

If anyone has any other ideas they are welcome to answer.

I hope this makes it to the game as an option or as a new game. But either way it would be cool.

This would be cool, but unfortunately Tanki has already existed for too long as a king of mini-battle-arena type of game, where there are multiple short games taking place at the same time. Turning the game into an open-world battle would take way too many resources and, like you said, would only be a realistic idea for a whole new game, rather than a part of Tanki Online. Developers won't spend so much effort implementing something like this, so it won't happen.

Obviously impossible but this would be amazing for Parkour. Unfortunately, Tanki isn't an adventure game and this would just cause mults to wander around. Nevertheless, a cool thought. :D

Maybe, tanki should make a very big map titled "Open world".

Of course it would cause lag :P. Just put a warning before it, telling players they need good internet+computer to play there.

An amazing idea, but it could change the minimum requirements for playing Tanki, and make them harder.

These maps would impact the FPS and cause lag issues twice as often.

 

Someday it could happen but as a new game as you mentioned too. It's a cool idea anyways, so, I think it deserves it. :P
