Why are some nicknames unavailable to use, even if nobody has the nicknames:

Several reasons why some nicknames are not available:

They're taken in other versions of the game (Brazilian, Chinese).

They're blocked.

Bug in the system.

Nickname changing form says that this name is available.

 

 

 

 

 

So if you wanna change nickname then just fill that form.

If you wanna create new account then send email to help@tankionline.com and tell them that you wanna create new account with this nickname. Hope they will help you :)

Sometimes it isn't possible to create an account with that nickname but it is possible to change your nickname to that (like in my case, it said 'Phenom was taken).

Not much info is said about the nickname but there are some things we as a players don't really know and the reason why it happens. Some nicknames are unavailable by default, like "admin", even though they may not be registered as players. But all normal nicknames should all be either taken or available according to Maf.

As Coop said long before, the nicknames are either taken in other versions of the game such as the Brazilian, Chinese or blocked or simply it is a bug in the system. Another possibility for the account not appearing in ratings is that it has fallen in the inactivity period.
