Let’s celebrate Tanki’s 8th birthday!

Alright, I've had enough with the overdrive mode. See you on 8th June, Tanki.

Don't misunderstand me, I think that it's cool that Tanki brought this feature back, as some players were asking for it. It's nice of Tanki to listen to them and do a second round of zero supply mode. But I do not enjoy it. So, for those of you who actually like it, have fun.

Don't you feel it is easier to do the difficult missions with the zero supply?

Define 'difficult missions,' please. I generally don't find any particular mission difficult.

If you mean capture flags and finish first; no, not really. In fact, I find capturing flags a bit more difficult with the overdrive mode. But I'm not too keen on missions anyway. Normally, I just complete three of them, and then don't bother with them until I have claimed all the rewards two days later, so I wouldn't know.

Return of ZERO Supply mode and modified active/cooldown time for supplies

But there’s even more to get excited about. For the duration of the festivities, we’re bringing back the popular ZERO Supply feature. Except this time, there will be a few differences.

at least add an option so we can turn that crap off when playing XP/BP....

Yes, capture flags and finish first.

Capturing flags is definitely easier with zero supply.

Use DA and speed boost to take enemy flag, drop a mine for anyone who chases you, use a repair kit if you're low on health then, and if they're still shooting at you, press shift key.

95% of time you get the enemy flag.

For finish first, ask your teammates to share zero supply with you, and don't share yours with them

If you do all 3 missions everyday, you have a greater probability of getting crystal rewards tomorrow.

Lol damn xD tho it ain't their fault, I remember when GBs were for sale first they cost 99c, but a day later they raised it 1€, since for some reason their payment system didn't let anyone purchase anything under 1€

Missions completing isn't generally easier, with zero supplies, what plays a big part in winning is team chemistry, your team could have top notch items but if they don't co-operate with teammates chances that you make the best use of Z-mode as few to none. especially when you see camping magnums and shafts working it out.

Missions have nothing to do with winning.

Crystal missions can be done faster if you win, but they are not very difficult to do anyways, it just takes time.

For flag and finish first missions, it can take 2 hours and you still may not get them done.

If you are having trouble completing your missions, do this:

Day 1; complete all your missions but only claim your reward for one mission.

Day 2; claim reward for another mission and complete the new mission that you received.

Day 3; repeat day 2 from there on.

For exp missions or crystals mission in TDM, CTF, and CP battles or finish 1st missions, just use isida in team battles and maybe that will help.

Isida is not very good for finishing first because the players you've been healing will generally score more than you.

eg. If you stay close to a Mammoth Vulcan, he will outscore you easily.

Not many people nowadays give flag to their team isida for capping, so that does not make matters any better.

My issue with capture flags and zero supply is that there is a far greater imbalance between winning and losing teams than usual. Therefore, if you find yourself in the winning team, there's usually a bunch of guys camping by the enemy flag waiting to take it once it's captured. Since, as a matter of principle, I try not to get into fights with my own teammates for flags or supply drops, that makes it more difficult than with a stronger losing team.

My two reasons for not doing three missions every day are 1) I can't always guarantee that I'll be able to play on the next day, so I try to leave missions to claim so that I can keep the chain going, and 2) missions are boring. I want to play what I want to play, not what Tanki decides that I should play. I don't always have a lot of time to play, so the less time I spend completing missions, the better.

okay, I just do missions and then don't play anymore, to keep a good crystal / experience ratio.

winning or losing doesn't matter that much when I have my mission objective in  mind.

I've been getting 250 kill missions, and zero supply helps a lot in that too - you can get 5 to 10 tanks each time if you're lucky with the timing.

Missions definitely are boring, and at times frustrating, especially when you have noob team, but without them I don't think it is possible to stay competitive in the game without buying in shop.

Such a sad birthday celebration. The number of players keeps dropping. The Dev's keep putting in bad changes and still not fixing the real problems. This immediate cool down when spawning is just plain stupid.  I would use a lot of other expletives too, but I'll remain civil.

I tell you, you just gotta love being dropped into the pot completely defenseless and all the members of the other team are all around with all supplies activated to welcome you.

The only money that I spent was to renew my premium account, because I have always supported the game, and after playing these last few days I'm regretting that. The Dev's keep listening to the cry babies and whiners and refuse to listen to those who have been financially supporting the game for years. So the game is failing. Money is drying up. Note all the gimmicks to try and get you to spend money. Note the consolidation of the servers due to lack of players. Note the constant decline of the number of players. So all I gotta say is enjoy it while it lasts and Last call.

there's also a bunch of new players who don't know what tanki used to be.

Capping doesn't necessarily get easier just because you have overdrive now. There are plenty of people out there who just don't drug much while playing. Look at my profile.

Also it's not just you running around pressing shift. With overdrive people are sticking together for the drugs and when you use press shift it's not like they're all going to just stare at you make away with the flag.

Gonna borrow this pic.

10980a71d06047ad96bb327348e355bb.pngJust imagine that as ctf defense team for a moment.

Honestly I don't see you coming out of that alive with overdrive.

The game is more about how well we work with out team but overdrive just magnifies the disparity between the better and worse team which is why people keep getting spawn killed so much now. Teams just start dominating bases now and spamming shift.
