Bigger rewards for completing mission chains this summer!

I like this "Bigger Rewards" --- paving my way into a noob drugger. Every time, I plan to become a full-time XP/BP player, these stupid super missions came in my way & quashed all my plans away :(  816/9999 in 2 weeks means next 5 months I am engaged :angry:

I demand  that you give me the triple i should have gotten for today. If i don't get it by tomorrow I shall quit this game forever.

Quit crying or quit playing, seems you can make a fair choice.

The special event is the increased chain rewards during the summer.

Sounds about right.

 

Not really an "event" more of a bonus.

It's a bonus that takes place during the summer only and you can only obtain it (participate) by completing at least one mission every day, during the event with bigger chain rewards as a prize.

Sorry guido I don't remember you at all and I don't normally respond to trolls but I will make an exception for you.

 

Just to put you right: I have never had the crap beaten out of me in this world or the real one.

 

Personally I like to make my own victories not rely upon a clan to fight my battles for me (not that I am in a clan).

 

With regard to drugging I despise it and have never bought a single item from tanki. all that I have has been earned through skill and hard graft.

 

Sorry to piss on your bonfire but yes I do use shaft, no I don't camp I shoot & scoot.

 

Better get your eyes tested old bean - maybe that's why you are so bitter, you cant see far enough to use a shaft lol.

 

Anyway it looks like your tantrum has paid off, enjoy your goodies cry baby.

let me get this straight... There are people crying about updates in every forum but you chose to troll one random guy in particular who just so happens to be your rank(which indicates high probability that you play in the same battles) and also just so happens to use the same turret as you do?

 

please... alright, well my clan didn't excatly beat the crap out of you... because you left the game after we spawn killed you 3-4 times straight! If you've never been beaten the crap out of it's easy to figure out why, because you back out every time you realise the enemy team is stronger. Make your own victories?? by only joing teams that are winning? really?

 

The fact that you have used 3000+ drugs shows that it isn't improbable that you could have been druging during our encounter. Unlike me, less than 80 and that figure hasn't risen since i was staff sergeant.

 

and if you could one shot kill a m2 mammoth with M1 shaft proctection using your m2 shaft then you'd have to drug to do that.

 

Oh and I won't be enjoying my goodies as much as you will... because I'd only use the mines while you become the monster with all of yours.

Guys pls help. I have a mission where i have to capture flags wearing the holiday paint. I must have captured 15 flags and still it is showing 4 OUT OF 10. Pls help fix this. Thanks.

Are you sure you are in a non-PRO battle?

 

If so, try refreshing your page and join another CTF battle.

Remember back when Tanki removed all the Supplies kits from the Garage except the 100 piece Kit? Tanki explained how they were committed to reducing the usage of Supplies in the game.

 

Which of course was a lie. Zeros Supplies and this tripling of the weekly rewards proves. I know many Tanki players are slavishly addicted to Tanki and will put up with anything. But most of us have some pride. I don't accept being lied to.

 

Man up. When you removed the Supplies kits from the Garage state the facts: "We are hoping to boost our revenue stream". I'd respect that.

 

As for the tripling. I am a daily missioner. LittleWillie gets ~20 RF and 60 of each other / week. This will go to 60 / 180.

 

Under the existing system I've still built up 500+ RK and 1200+ of the others. The new system will flood me with so many Supplies I won't be able to use them all if I tried.  Great fun! Right?  Well let;s think about that.

 

I can use as many drugs as I want. I pop up DA/DD/SU/ I am a monster! I will kill all I see!

 

Well so can everyone else. Everyone else has DA/DD/SU popped. So our tanks fight as though no one has DA/DD active. LOL. SU still works so the tanks drive faster. That's it. All this vast Supplies use ann this pressing of 2 and 3 and on the bottom line it all cancels out.

 

What a stupid, dull, uninteresing system.I do not object to power-ups in the game., I object to the way Tanki has designed these power-ups. The transform a tank-tank combat game into a 1, 2, 3, 4 key pressing contest. The game suffers for it. Players suffer for it. DA/DD overpower things like good tactics and well everything else. A tank with DA/DD up can simply drive up to the enemy's front, park, and blast the un-drugged tank t shreds. No skill, no driving, no thought it needed.

 

So that is how Tanki players play.

 

I have been playing for maybe 10 months now. I've never seen so many bad players in one online game before. So many players are so bad, because Tanki's simplistic drugging mechanics teach players to pop a DD and charge into the fray. I see game after game where tanks spawn and immediately drive over the same exact path towards the enemy. Over and over and over again all the while calling each other "noob" in chat. LOL 

 

So triple this source of drugs? Make the game dumber and even less like a game of tank combat? Well go ahead Tanki. Who cares at this point?

 

This is an obvious attempt to retain players over the summer. And I suspect you have to try it. But I don't think it will stop the players bleeding away.  Your problem is you are committed to retaining a dull mind-killing supplies system and that makes the game less fun.

to be honest this game would be soooooo much more fun if buying wasn't an option.... but nope tanki needs money :(

 

If there wasn't an option to buy, then the game dies, it's simple.

Would you work for a year without getting your pay? Same logic. Tanki is a game business itself. It isnt wrong for them to hoax player into buying crystals.

Let me cut everything shorter. Supplies does not really matter to one who plays PRO battles everyday. As for completing missions in NON-Pro, it is still fine except for those super missions... Exp can still be earned in the same duration, but kills cannot. For kills super missions, it now takes at least 6 months to complete. You can speed up the process to 3 months, but around 3000 double damages need to be used, so i kind of agree with the part that reducing the usage of supplies.

 

But there are 2 points that i kind of disagree with you. Lets start off with the first point. You seems to be in the objection of the weekly increased rewards... But i think its a great move to actually help people to play, and get like at least one more turret/hulls for the upcoming tankers day sales, which is in september, By the end of August, you will be having 100 650 crystals, 2013 of each supplies and 693 repairs for a 11 week week 4 chain. For me it would me 138 600 crystals, 2772 of each supplies and 924 repairs. As i can see, you are not really a drugger, so i think the crystals are beneficial for you, and you can join PRO battles. Now its worth it isnt it? For the supplies, they can just aid you to complete mission, so i dont think it would be hard to finish missions now.

 

Now for the second point, about the drugging part, This one, is all rely on skills. You dont really have to drug if someone else is drugging, for example, staying out of range of that particular drugger. When his supplies ran out and went to cooldown, then, you drug. Its just the same logic. It is really pointless for people to drug 2,3 and repair on a 1 v 1. This would just cause losses for both party as they mostly ended up with like 2 kills. Also, it is best to use DD for campers. 2,4 are mainly for flag captures, So this is just how you want to use the supplies, whether you want it to be effective, or wasting to attack. So ya, its mainly on the skills on how the person would use it.

 

Lastly, just a tip for you if you are against playing in non-PRO battles.
Lets say for Monday, you have 3 undone mission. So i suggest you to play in non-pro and complete all 3 mission and claim one for monday, then play in PRO-battles. So, for tuesday and wednesday, you will not have to bother mission in non-Pro.
After that on thursday, you complete all 3 again and claim 1 for thursday. So on Friday and Saturday, you wont bother on non-pro battles and drugging. In a week, you only need to play non-pro like 2-3 times for a week. Well, you might say your reward is very little everyday, because you only claim 1 per day. But if you want more, you have to use more, just like investment. If i put in $4000 in a investment vs $40000 in an investment , which would gather more in the end? You decide :) Anyways, good luck to you in battles.

 

P.S I am sure your low ranked battles are better than our legend battles, when our legend battles are always disrupted by clan druggies, causing huge losses for some legends in terms of supplies.

I have all the drugs I need to counter the druggers in the game. That is not the point. The point is while I am aplying my concern is what powerups I have active and what my enemy has active. What my concerns SHOULD be as a tank commander is keeping my hull down, observing the battlefield, working maneuver and fire with my team mates, and anticipatng the flow of battle.

 

 

Tanki players d onot do that. It never crossed your mind to talk about actual tank tactics. You offered me advice on how to use my drugs. My whole point is that is what Tanki really is - it is a game of managing your power-ups. It is not a game of tank tactics. The concept of tactics is entirely foreign to the average tanki player.

Buying itself is not a problem; drugging is.

 

One can't buy items/kits above his/her rank limitation; while drugging with DD/DA could boost 4x more powerful, totally ruin the game!

I agree. They've killed tactics and nerfed strategy It's all about getting the jump with supplies. And Overdrive makes it even worse.

Yep. But they've killed off everything in their player base except the players who like pressing buttons to make the lights flash and sparkle. Shiny! So Overdrive swill soon become permanent I'll wager a Coke on it. 

 

Just did my mission minimums. I'd have a good battle be playing and smiling. Then 2 or 3 Overdrive blowouts. Hence the mission minimums.

Honestly, my idea for the overdrive would have worked way better than its current state.
