Bigger rewards for completing mission chains this summer!

amount of supplies you get on legend rank after finishing 4 week chain is hilarious..this is what I used to spend in 2 or 3 good 30 min rounds :D

 

tick-tack Strizhakov..soon you will have no players to throw experiments on :)

Tanki just cut to the chace. Implelent a new supply. Press it and every enemy tank in the game dies.

Oh, but it's already there. You only need to equip magnum and press space.

That's assuming they know how to consistently fire the Magnum accurately.

You are very much correct that there are some very good players who use Magnum and they are just demolishers. But even the average Magnum user will be able to do this much. The people who simply cannot "get" the Magnum interface weed themselves out.So the people who use it have no probs setting the range.

I can't play on Sundays.

Press F to pay respect.

If you are able to at least log in to the game on Sundays (perhaps through the puffin browser on your phone), you could complete 2 missions on Saturday and claim only one of them. That way you can just claim the second completed mission the next day, without actually having to play.

At least , put the super misions in Pro battle  because is hard to kill 9999 tank in non pro battle . Is not like you can cheat that.  I got it. simple misionss like ,  collect speed boxes can be cheated but super mission like kill 9999 or xp points 99999 is hard in non pro .

for example, i play 90% xp/bp  ,so no mission for me.  

 

all small missions in non pro battle

or...

 

Joining a TEAM Battle in Normal and do nothing but run around and collect supply drops...

Devs need to realize that people are leaving because the game is not fun to them anymore, giving bigger rewards will not keep them in the game, people are here to have fun, no fun = no play, simple as that

I used to spend 3+ hrs everyday playing, now: log in > do a mission > claim reward > leave

Tanki needs to revert back to letting us create battles without a pro pass. There's a lack of variety in gameplay. Also bigger rewards are a nice bonus but now everyone is drugging non-stop... drugging has become the default setting for playing tanki online.

Agreed. However, even battles created by players with PRO Passes are mostly the same. We end up playing in the same maps over and over and over...

Maybe Tanki should rotate maps with 2x battle fund once every week or day or so, so that for example every week 3 unpopular maps have bigger rewards in them than other maps

Maybe 2x is too much but increasing the battle fund for certain maps every 1 or 2 weeks could be a solution.

Yeahh there are so many maps in the game, but be it PRO battles or normal battles, maps remain same -- This is kinda boring !!! @Cedric Debono you need to pass some information to developers on this issue to release unpopular maps in non-PRO battles.

@wolverine848 noob, he is talking about 9999 kills and 99999 XP missions, not the regular missions.When you rank up & get a super mission especially 9999 kills mission, then you will face cool music playing in non-PRO battles against M4+alt+50% protection+drugs. Good Luck :lol:

Yea I was thinking 2x maybe too much as well, but I wouldn't mind, a x1.75 or 1.5x would do instead

Yes it is and Oversrive wil make that worse. A fully drugged tank is the new normal. Any tank unable to be fully drugged is crippled.

Which is why I don't buy them. Whenever I glance at a Pro list I see: Poly CP, Noise, Island, Sandbox and perhaps one or two more. The "Pro" pass is so badly named. It should be the don't think just drive into the pile of tanks with a brick on your spacebar die respawn repeat, pass.

At Christmastime I suggested Tanki do a weekend map event every weekend (or many weekends). Then thre were missions like Get Exp/flag caps/destry enemies ... all on the Holiday map. For the weekend players would always find battles to be found on that map.

I do not recall the details but I reckon you are probably right. :)

 

Well of course you are right it is not certain Overdrive will stay. But that is my honest prediction. The devs seem to be lurching from concept to concept in a fevered attempt to make this game seem 'new' again to its player base. As for do I know how frustrating that is, the answer is "yes". :)

Actually, the idea isn't to make the game "new" again, rather, to keep offering up new content. MMOs cannot afford to stagnate. They have to keep offering fresh content, otherwise they die.

 

Actually, it's not just MMOs. It's the same with anything. How many games do you have, that you've been playing repeatedly for more than a few months, no matter how good they are? I'm betting very few.

Yes, there are reasons, but they're not necessarily the reasons you are quoting. I suggest reading a book called Freakonomics to get a little bit of insight about how correlation isn't necessarily causality.

Actually, there's a lot more that you can do in the game. There are the special game modes like XP/BP. There's eSports and clans. There's parkour.

 

Also, once the Matchmaking system is properly in place, and the Clans system is fully implemented, we expect gameplay to become a lot more engaging and interesting. It's gonna take a bit more, but it'll be worth the wait.

One week on from receiving the bigger mission chain reward, I'm convinced that there is no benefit to players. Everyone receives the bigger reward, so now everyone is drugging all of the time. The drugging "problem" is now worse than ever.

 

I ran out of supplies today (apart from speed ups and mines) and discovered that it is almost impossible to play... so I switched to playing XP or pro mode... no other choice.

Call me cynical but as a management systems & economics expert I can smell management  BS a mile off, and your vague reference to an obscure text does little to convince me that you guys are doing anything other than milking the declining stages of this product.

Actually, it's not just MMOs. It's the same with anything. How many games do you have, that you've been playing repeatedly for more than a few months, no matter how good they are? I'm betting very few.

I understand the need to avoid stagnation. indeed your company does some things very well such as The Game, VLOG, the various contests and so forth. However you keep working only one side of the equation. You keep messing with the combat engine. What needs development is everything outside the actual combat.

 

There is no growth in this game only a facade. You rank up with your reward for 3-4 months of play is to get another copy of your exact same tank with slightly better parameters. The economic system is such a travesty that a game account is locked into one hull and one turret. Here's a game with 13 turrets and 7 hulls. That's 91 different combinations in the game but you won't be able to experiment with 90 of those 91 without crippling your account financially.

 

That's variety?

 

The fact is shrewd players see these things and leave.  The long-term development ladder that keeps players playing is simply not there. You are left with extremely young or otherwise unsophisticated players. So your player base will demand more dumb easy "features" like Overdrive. Which in turn drives away even ore of the player base.

 

You're on a death spiral and apparently do not have the resources needed to fix the real problems. So you constantly fiddle with combat parameters and add abominations like Magnum.

 

 I fully expect this game to die out in the next 6 to 18 months. Depends on how much more you can wring out of the platform, as realbigred said.
