They should have an option when creating a battle, believe me we "eSports" players were all annoyed because when there was 0 supply in 6v6 maps.

The best is ZERO Supply Mode during May celebrations, not this Overdrive feature during Birthday celebrations.

An EMP Burst Mechanism over a short radius as in magnum's splash radius, that could charge over a fixed time and requires a consistent time to recharge 

Ability: can fully disable a tank for a period of 10 seconds, nothing works if any tank is in range but fully ineffective against our tank and over our teammates.

Countermeasures: an Isida can kickstart all mechanics of a tank who happened to fall into emp burst range.

I think something that would be really cool is if you use it next to a player who just died and their burnt tank is still there, they come back to life when you use Overdrive. This only works if their dead tank is still there. These tankers are not to be equipped with any supplies from Overdrive's effect.

I think all supplies should be changed into overdrives. Just turn them into items that charge up gradually (although much quicker than the overdrive) and can be used once they charge.

 

I would also suggest them to be made free at the same time, just like in TX, but something's telling me that devs don't want to give up supplies as a source of revenue  <_<

Exactly my point (including last line). Perfect solution. Drugs should be replaced by overdrive. However, all supplies should be charged separetly. If all supplies are charged collectively and activated at once, it will ruin balance as overdrived tank will be 4x stronger than non-overdrived.

Make an even cooler visuals and add a gold drop, but the gold might come later, it just increases the odds of gold. May I suggest it adds more XP and Crystals to your kills? It should maybe be like monster kill around you, and you won't get killed. It could have a surprise feature, like april fools day.

I think we should create a splash when over drive is used and do little Damage to nearest people even OUR TEAM MEMBERS!!

and you should set an amount of players that get overdrive from a player.. like only two others can get overdrive from thier team member..

and Try to MAke a laser shoot in the sky telling where overdrive was activated and the no of people will be the no. of lasers!!!!

I suggest implementing an overdrive for every single turret where each turret has its own "special mode" when activating Overdrive such as:

 

Freeze: Completely freezes an enemy as long as enemy is being shot at.

Firebird: Fire goes through enemies (just like before the update) as well as flame turning blue PLEASE! (for old time's sake)  :D

Isida: Health stealing becomes equal to attack damage.

Hammer: Number of pellets increase to 25-30 and damage per pellet is constant so overall damage increases.

Twins: Projectile radius increases and splash damage is heavier while player but player doesn't receive any splash damage when going too close.

Ricochet: Projectiles can ricochet off enemy tank as long as projectile is still within maximum range.

Smoky: Fires a second mini-projectile which deals some damage.

Thunder: Projectile explodes in a spherical structure rather than the current lateral splash damage.

Railgun: Projectile deals additional damage to following tanks after hitting first tank rather than decreased damage.

Shaft: Increased zoom in scope mode and penetration goes through an infinite number of tanks (with decreasing damage).

Striker: Projectiles are swifter and can make tighter turns.

Magnum: Virtual arc appears and shows the player where the projectile

This is so so smart OMG man I can't believe how good of an idea this is. Thank you and devs plz do this!

What i see is "overdrive" is supportive feature, and have nice "teamwork" benefit. I think we should keep this "supportive" theme.

What should benefit for moving and staying tanker? Drug, It also will make non-buyer player more worthy than before.

Mmm, drug benefit for battle, for crystal... How about score?
It should boring compared drug, but at least it have something more to do in battle.

The most worthy player is the most contributing player... No
The most destructing strategy is a army of tanker... Ah

When overdrive activated, you should close to your teammate to have 2x score. When your activated teammate is far from you/die, the effect is removed.
Tanker would prefered play as army, and perhaps it would nice treat for thunder, magnum, striker user.

Not good at fine tuning, i leave it this idea as is.

 

UPDATE, Perhaps some *sharing* score? like when you as isida heal closing teammate, the 2 get equal score, and when ur teammate kill or cap flag, the 2 get equal score, perhaps as long the activated tanker dont die

Its basically like double jump

an overdrive that changes the map to SPACE FOR 30 SECONDS!!!

or one that gives you cry for your kill instantly and the kills are added to your battle kills too!!!

It's going to be really difficult to find something as interesting as the overdrive. Overdrive brings a team together, reminds people of the 1234 supplies mode from the past, increase xp and battle found and can be enjoyable by everybody (except the hatters) as  a new game experience.

 

If you want to bring something from the past that could be beneficial for all the team and enjoyable, then what about a Crystal-Drive. once activated you could have 5, 10 and 20 crystals boxes (with different color boxes) raining randomly, falling from the sky for 20 seconds. Each team needs to collect as many as possible (or yourself if in DM mode). The amount collected by each team will be added to the team battle found (not the total battle found) and the team battle would be split equally between team members at the end (or you if in DM). Each player getting one box will have xp associated with it (you collected 25 crys during the whole game, you get 25xp).

 

If we could have 2 or 3 weekend with Crystal-Drive during the summer time (Northen hemisphere), when there is no event, that would be interesting.
Could be named: Retro-Drive or Origin-Drive or Tanki Origin Day

i loved the overdrive that you gave during tanki's 8th birthday. but few changes that i would like to see are.......

 

1 = instead of blue flash (occuring when we press shift and all supplies are activated) put black flash that looks dangerous and will make enemies 

      scared.

 

2 = a little splash damage which will damage enemies nearby.

 

3 = a gold drop when activated (only when a map is full of players).

 

4 = if you didnt't like he above given 3 changes, then, ummmm.....      ofcourse whatever you like. ;)

look : Make a freature its symbol looks like a shield mybe we can name it the " OverField " when someone uses it his tank and other teammates' tanks around first of all will get full supplies of cors , + a " Field of Energy " around the tank ( Blue & Red ) that makes him protected 50 % from any turret shot + if he get so close to an enemy's tank ( non OverFielded one ) that field of energy will reduce lets say 995 of the enemy tank score for one time from one enemy ( lets say that this will looks like an explosion of electric charge ^_^ and it will be less by the double armor ON ) , aaaand if two fields ( Blue & Red ) get touch , they will cancel each other and cancel all the supplies too + reduce lets say 500 form each one's score , like this , you can sacrifice yourself wen u have that feature ON in order to help ur team to take over the OverFielded enemies, this will make the two teams equal in chances . Just Imagine how ENJOYABLE this will make the gameplay :lol: :o :lol: :o :lol: , everyone will run away form u ( The OverFielded one ) and try to keep a distance from u while you r trying to keep a distance from the OverFielded enemies  and  running after the non ones like TOME AND JERRY >XD >XD >XD  :D  :D  :D

an over drive which take 10 times as long to charge which will give of rainbow of colours 1 by 1 and evry player in that team (no matter how far) will also get the effect in team battlesbut in DM the 234 supps last for 100 sec
