Tell us your cool ideas for new «Overdrives»

I was going to think this through a bit more, but I'll just write something off the fly. 

 

I am thinking this is just what can we add ... how much it needs to relate to overdrive I do not know So here are a few ideas I thought of ... just right now. If it sucks it sucks if it doesn't it doesn't.

 

1) Damage Surge

 

You spawn, correlated to the turret in question your first few seconds (or number of shots) of damage is significantly - or marginally increased. So let's say thunder or smoky where the firing isn't continuous but shot based. The first 2-3 shots are increased 50 % extra damage. Isida / Vulcan where damage is more constant, again instead of the full clip being increased it is based on seconds. So for some turrets it's by individual shot. And turrets with timed clips it is a second based damage increase. Ends after first or 2nd kill automatically?. But boy will the kills be fast when its on. 

 

2) Vengeance Mode

 

The person who last killed you *Easily tracked in game log- is your target for your next spawn until you die again. Let's say Player A kills you. Your next spawn you goal is to kill player A before you die again, if Player C kills you then he is your new target, no longer A. If you kill the Player who is your target on the spawn after you die then you get some reward. Crystal based. Supply based. Many take a day off of an upgrade. Whatever we give as reward. Xp maybe ten times the xp for vengeance mode only on valid targets. 

 

3) Specialty Master 

 

While in an active game, a player may go to the garage and choose a specific Tank chassis. He does extra damage to that style of tank. As a tanker, you have faced Titan many times, and you have found a chink in the armour. You know what to aim for. Increased 10-20% damage. This will kill large tanks with more health faster. Or perhaps you are a turret that specializes in killing the already vulnerable hornets. You've figured out how to adjust your turret to do more damage against Hornets. Killing them at exceptionally effective speed. 

 

4) Zone defense. 

 

Maps have spawning zones. Each map is divided into zones. Your spawn, Enemy spawn. middle of map, your side of map but not spawn, their side of map but not spawn, underground. overpass. bridges. etc. These zones could trigger effects. While in your spawning zone double armour is always active. Home court advantage. Just as you leave your spawn, speed boost is automatically activated. Get in the battle! Duck into an underground tunnel or designated area of map, and automatically receive a free repair kit *even if there isn't one there to be picked up. The zone just triggers it all. Enter the area just outside your opponents spawn and activate double damage. Activations could run out, or run for specified time. While in opponents zone supply mode is turned off. 

 

This would prevent camping on spawn zones. For one, your opponents will always have double armour in their home turf. You will never have anything but lets say ability to activate your repair kit supply. I dunno, I feel there is something I should be tweaking here about home turf while opponents attack.

 

5) Collision

 

Collision damage is introduced. Correlated to weight of tank? Or tank itself? 

 

I have 3 in mind. Pushing is not what I have in mind. I mean actual impact 1 time. So you have head on collision. Side ram, And coming from behind. Head on collision is determined by combination of weight and power of tank 1 vs weight and power of tank 2. Unfortunately bigger hulls have advantage. If they collide with you it's gonna hurt. So don't charge them! if you are a weaker faster hull you can avoid it better but not always. Side rams and from behind smaller hulls have the maneuverability to gain an edge. The damage is a flat one time occurrence... So a side collision based on whether its a wasp or a viking hitting you does either 25 or 75 damage. A distribution by tank between 25-100 damage. Maybe also include the speed of the tank? A faster tank will hit you harder? I dunno. I mean lots could be tweaked here. 

 

Maybe pushing does damage itself as well. If you get locked in a head on collision viking vs titan maybe the tanks just physically do damage. Will encourage people actually moving tanks instead of just colliding. A viking fire likes to come up and burn my titan but whoa! not so fast. Use some skill and at least keepa  couple meters distance and drive around me, don't just run into me burn me. 

 

I dunno. I have plenty more but maybe these are garbage ideas so why continue haha

I have the best suggestion for game but not for the devs. Completely eliminate supplies from the game and this overdrive too. The game will be completely balanced and there won't be a need to change the mission update back. But supplies bring money to the game so this is never gonna happen.

I'm not talking about how the current version should change. I'm asking you to suggest completely new mechanics? What kind of weird stuff can we get your tanks to do?

THERE SHOULD BE A BUTTON THAT WE PRESS AND OUR FLIPED TANK STAND AGAIN.NOT ALWAYS BUT LIKE ZERO SUPPLY IT WILL LOAD WITH TIME AND WE CAN USE IT ..PLZ PLZ PLZ.

Training wheels for Wasp so it doesn't flip over as much.

Add a spring-arm to the Viking to reflip itself uptight - the same used by those Battlebots who have a flat base.

Create a true "chameleon/sniper paint" that blends with the background. It doesn't have to be perfect or make you invisible, but it should be effective the longer your hull stands still, turret movement notwithstanding.

well overdrives should always be implemented whenever there is a  event and in that overdrive then xp gained should be doubled twice or thrice.    :)  :)  :)  :)  :)  ;)

Hey all,

 

During Tanki's 8th birthday celebrations, we brought back ZERO Supply, changing the name to "Overdrive". A couple of days ago, we asked you to give us your opinion about this feature, whether you think it should be a permanent part of the game, and how. If you still haven't given us your opinion on that, you can do so by answering a few questions here.

 

But in this thread, I'd like us to discuss something a bit different. What if we were to implement MORE Overdrives? What should they do? What should they look like? How should they function?

 

We'd love to hear your ideas, even the crazy ones. Let's see what you can come up with!

I'd leave this one ''overdrive'' as it is. The only thing I would add is a simple vote in the beginning of the match (You can vote either for yes or no)

all should understand whats it for so when the activate is do like all the supply coming to us and they will understand and overdrive means it should last for a long time but it should load to 100% slowly so its hard to get zero supply but it will be great to play with it plus you guys can do like a effect like boxes r coming to us and give option for zero supply when we create a battle we can decide to have zero supply or not :) thank you for letting us tell some ideas

The Overdrive is just like using the ultimate of your toon i.e. the tank Its just like using the Ultimate in Top rated games like OverWatch and Paladins the only defect in overdrive is the time the duration is too short and i hope to increase the time by 5s and definitely i need for permanent If not to find each special skill used by each turret.

I think that the new overdrive should be a gold box dropper it would rain gold boxes and it would take a lot of time to load.Oh i had a complain on June 4 i did not gold gold boxes with supplies.

You can do that already. And with mines, too.

Yes, but I mean a bunch of mines. Pretty much like a minefield.

Tanki, I m telling my idea but i dont think u r gonna listen Here it is --> Be the overdrive like it is but make supplies time a bit longer and every 100th or after several times of usage we could drop a gold in battlefield with overdrive. I know many players want this. Tanki, Go DO THIS...

Idea Related To Overdrive

 

I don't think my idea will be considered but still just gonna post lol.

This idea is related to Overdrive and it does not concern about modifications in Overdrive.

Also, Of course this one will not be there permanently, How about it available in Special Events.

 

 

 

 

Beside the Overdrive Box there should be another Box.

This Box gets filled up every time you use Overdrive..

Which when activated can result in any random thing

Like.... Monster Kill, Gold boxes worth 200-500 Crystals, Rain of Supplies ( in that particular range ), Any random supply activated for a long time or any other thing.

 

 

Average time a player can activate Overdrive is 3-4 times...

This Box should get filled if Overdrive is used more than 5 times...

When this Box is full you can activate it just like an Overdrive.

You could add an overdrive, where it DECREASES the enemy's supply's when they are nearby, so there damage and defence are times negative two.

its few things 

1- if u keep the same one .. in any battle if any side lose first flag or firs cp they can not win again or it will be so much hard for that its not fair.. for any side 

2- to change the supply no one from the players like that and you make vote about that and finish this story.

3- you need to make money too for that u can not make it for free 

4- and catch any cheat u can not keep the zero supply 

5- the idea to can used any supply one time in the battle ( all battle) but that will not make good money for company 

6- make it faster it will make money for company but the players will be upset 

7- keep it same but make the drop more or cover it by gold drop more ( which is better it will be more action between the players and it will make the company make money coz the players need supply more to can catch the gold). 

8- make few box drop for full supply who will catch them he will have the same action for zero and the players will search more and more action it will be like gold box :)
