How did you come to start playing Tanki Online?

2 or 3 years ago...

I remember the day I went to

The library, where I was scared with a tiny boo

I became a nerd

I flew a bird

And I started to dance

I lost control and then fell off my pants

Haha, no.

I went to the neighborhood library and was doing something on the computer when this kid who was in 5th grade (I was in 3rd or 4th) told me about Tanki Online... And I came to love it.

My friends used to play this game and they wasted their crystals and all quit before m1s. Here I am, trying to make it to m2s while being constantly bored with this game. Hopefully m2 leagues will give me some fun.

If you are bored with M1s things get only slightly better with M2s.

Your M2 kit will be exceptionally good for the first 1 - 3 ranks, depending on the kit you get. But as you reach Captain, you will often be in battles containing M3 players with insane skill levels. It'll will be an even bigger challenge to get through the higher-end mid-ranks. All you need is a crap load of patience to make it through. Keep doing what you've been doing to earn as many crystals as you can and you'll get there.

Once you break through this boredom of the game, you'll be wanting to try and familiarize yourself with your kit as much as you can, because as a free player, it's crucial which 1 or 2 hulls and turrets you buy. I'd prefer to make sure any combo with the items I have to work well and tailor to your skill/preferences. On my last account I had 3 hulls and turrets (bought too many which is why i quit on it). They were M2 Smoky, M2 Railgun, M2 Hammer, M2 Hornet, M2 Dictator and M2 Viking. The only two combos that didn't really work well for me were Dictator Hammer and Hornet Smoky.

On this account, as you know, I have only two turrets and only one hull. Hornet works very well for me with the turrets I have and I'm extremely skilled with both. However, they don't work well in all situations, so some battles are a struggle for me. Big, open maps or small and cramped ones you'll find I'm worst at, such as Madness and Polygon.

As you rank up, try to pay attention to the crystal/experience ratios you get at the end of your battles, the experience you have currently, and the difference between that and Lt. General where you get M3 kits.

To guesstimate how many crystals you'll make, divide the remaining exp to Lt. General by how many crystals you make per every 1 exp. So, if I make 500 exp in a battle and 435 crystals, divide what you earned in crystals by the exp you made. 435 divided by 500 = 0.87. Record this then do a few more battles. Say you end up with 0.94 on the second one and you get lucky to have 1.1 on the last. Add 0.87 + 0.94 + 1.1 = 2.91. Divide that by how many battles you did. 3 in this case and you get 0.97. Then, multiply the exp you need to get to Lt. General by this number. I have roughly 310,000 exp to get there. I'd get 310,000 times 0.97 = 300,700. That's pretty high from just battles. This will be very inconsistent, so do this often.

Also, add up all the rewards from rank ups and add it onto that number. For me, it's 16,000 plus 17,000 plus 18,000 plus 20,000, is 61,000. This plus 300,700 is 361,700.

Thanks!

The maths as a whole, to make a guesstimate of how many crystals, by the time you reach a rank is:

( z - v ) (( x + x1) / (y + y1 ))

x - crystals made in battle

/ - divide

y - exp made in battle

z - exp of desired rank

v - exp you have

for x and y, you can add in as many as you want, just increase the coefficient by one to separate, so you can do as many battles as you want. If I did five battles, the x and y part would look like this:

( x + x1 + x2 + x3 + x4 / y + y1 + y2 + y3 + y4 )

I also took the liberty of coloring the text to show how it's done in order, starting with white, light grey and then dark grey. Whatever you get after putting x, and y together, multiply that by what you get for z and v. When you plug in your numbers, you do not need to use the coefficients.

I'll put in random values to show how it's done:

(787,000 - 156,000) ((100 + 120 + 382 + 223) / (180 + 210 + 426 + 250))

787,000 is the exp needed to be Lt General. 156,000 is the amount to be WO5, so let's say this person has exactly that.

631,000 ( 825 / 1,066 )

Here we've done the first step, to add the x and y values and the z and v values.

631,000 ( 0.77 )

Here we divided. Round to the nearest hundredth.

485,870

Finally, we multiplied 631,000 and 0.77 to get 485,870 crystals.

Please note that this is only calculating funds from battle.

Just post that, how you founded this game ?

Me:- I was playing Club penguin just like sensei_Tanker. It was a good game and it got shut down.. I was dis-appointed.

Later I saw my friend playing tanki in his house and, he went to rest-room urgent for like 5 minutes.. I played for him.. it was really easy to control and gaining my GTA driving skills and understand the gold box concept as it was fallen there.

Rest, I went home and played it in my new account.
