On the independence or national day of each country, only for that day a paint with the flag of the country should be available, for money or big amount of cristals. 

 

Exampes: Colombia Flag on 20 July

USA Flag 4 July, and so on

 

For money can be and above certain rank (major perhaps).

That would require 195 new paints to avoid discriminating and leaving any nation out. Also, flag paints don't even work that well as skins and it would be easy to mix them up since many flags share the same colour scheme and pattern.  Not to mention the extra work required by devs to add a new paint for every country's national celebration.

 

And I think developers tend to avoid anything related to politics and religion, which is why religious or national days are not celebrated in Tanki.

I knew someone would say that. Christmas has pretty much turned into a generic winter celebration, rather than something religious. It's such a massive event that devs decided to make an exception for it. Anyway, you can ignore that part of my post since this idea is about countries, not religious holidays.

I don't see the point then. EU represents so many different communities that knowing that someone is from the EU would give no useful information to others.
