Introduction: 
 
Okay, so this is another idea that I think and I'm sure everyone would love to see in the game. Here's the definition of medals:
 
Medals are rewarded for different accomplishments. These accomplishments can range from capturing flags and points in objective game modes to getting an exceptional amount of kills in a single life. Each medal, including duplicates, provide bonus experience points.
 
 
Working:
 
As achieving each medal gives you experience points, each rank limit should be increased heavily. For example, if Generalissimo currently sits at 1.4M experience points, it should be moved way higher at around 2M to counter for the experience points medals are giving you.

 

Unfortunately, these will all too be very easy to get in Pro battles, so, these should only count in Non-pro battles.

 

Now, as I have already said, the way a medal works is that you need to complete its requirement to earn it. Once you get it, a notification on the top of your screen will pop up saying that you have earned a medal.

All medals will be available to see in your profile record, like this:

Killed an enemy who was injuring/shooting a teammate.

Experience bonus: +3 exp

Killed an enemy when you were at the last bit of your health.

Seems very similar to achievements. I think, to keep it simple, instead of adding this new feature devs should rework achievements to be suitable for this.

In my opinion:

  • Achievements - long-term, account based record of your profile.
  • Medals - short-term, combat and/ore battle based record of your profile.

I would like both to exist though, as both are different.

This idea is simply awesome. And I think it's compatible with achievments. They are only about pure long term. With this medals, we could see if players complete their match, how many match they have won, how many first kill and so on. You can also add a medals about killing an enemy escaping with the flag, a medals for returning a fag, capturing a flag...

I have asked for medals as well.

 

Medals should reward player with crystals as well.

 

Another type of reward that is needed are trophies.

 

Bronze, Silver and Gold trophies and medals.

Achievements are one-time stuff, this seems more useful for understanding how good a player is.

It's a cool thing but is it possible for Tanki to actually understand battle scenarios and understand that you "just did a jumpshot" or whatever? It also seems like this will bring lag to it, though that is not a reason for arguing against. I think this is a very cool idea but requires a bit too much work - especially with chaing rank experience and all that. Another problem - if you want rank EXP to be actually made longer, what will happen to people that are sitting at Generalissimo/Legend rank but only barely and this update causes them to have their rank severely lowered? This is deadly in lower ranks because players with M2s can have their rank severely lowered to people without M2s.

+1 medal or achievement (same thing) - should apply only in normal battle.

 

Returning a flag, capturing a flag and several kill in one shot: that would be interesting.

 

A few additional idea form me:

* Medic: how many tank an isida revived.
* Mammoth Hunter: Get on when you kill a mammoth

For TDM:
Gladiator: if you made more than 25% of the totals kills
 

DM:

Long wolf: every time you finish first.

CP:
Lord of point: if you captured more than 10% of all the captured point in the whole battle.

Yes, it is possible for games to understand battle scenarios. After all, it's possible in CoD, which is a MMO too.

 

Yes, it will require much amount of work, but I think developers seriously need to stop this 'oh-we-are-too-busy-with-other-stuff-so-we-don't-do-things-that-require-much-work' trope. This is the only way game develope and gather more audience. If you implement this idea > more people play the game > more people buy > more money is generated > income for Alternative Platform increases.

 

Their rank will be lowered, but equipment will also be lowered to suit those ranks. For example, if someone is a Major currently, after this update, they would become a Third Lt.; not a big difference but they would still have the equipment they have. Because a Third Lt. was at the skill-level of Major before. If M3s unlock at Marshal currently, I'd lower them down to General or at least Lt. General to suit these changes. M2s at probably WO4-Lt.Gen and M1-0 where they are. This will extend career times, generating Tanki more money. After all, that's what they want anyway ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
