its easy to communicate  with russian players they only have a few words they speak which is basic and they understand simple english words like ok go capture etc

This is one in a hundred cases. Most russians do not speak english this is fact and in a team based game language is a key element for the win.

Communicating with others became nearly impossible so I've started to learn Russian. I don't mind this at all, but I think players should have more options to solve this issue...

I think there should be hotkeys that broadcast a simple message (eg, "Help!") to everyone in their own game language, like in WoT. Makes communication simple.

Personally, I think the Devs what this as a Russian buyers game. But they don't want to take Tanki out of the EU community completely because they would lose money. So, it's a Russian game that allows European and American players to buy or sink. 

 

Tanki has changed, we all agree, and not always for the better. The messages here seems to be:

 

1...If you don't want to play a Russian game, then don't play. 

 

2...If you want to play a Russian game, then play, but keep quiet.

 

3...If you want to play a Russian game and talk, then learn Russian

 

4...Regardless of your decision, please, buy, buy, buy. We love money of all Nations. No discrimination there. 

 

My opinion, bottom line: We don't love you, we don't even like you, but we adore your money. Please buy until it hurts, but don't expect us to reciprocate in anyway that doesn't benefit the Russian Community. This is a Russian game, get over it or quit.

Combination of servers is preparation for matchmaker. No other messages are being sent.

Seems like poor decision making to treat non-Russian communities so badly. Oh well, not the first mistake they made..

If I could at least highlight the text google translate would help us communicate. The english community is dead right now. In the chat one post per 10 minutes, in battles hundreds of posts. People are really talking, but no English people. I've literally been in 10 different battles in a row and found about less then 5 English players. Come on Tanki...

Okay, now I'm totally ticked off.

 

I just played CTF on Brest. Three players each team. There was a drugging enemy Mammoth/Shaft sitting on the second level, one shotting us as we came in with the flag. All we could do is grab it, but couldn't capture because of the Sniper. I tried to combat him, but my Hornet/Twins was no match for him. 

 

I tried to warn my teammates, but, of course, no one knew what I was talking about. Why? Because we all spoke different languages. Soon the whole team (all 3 of us) knew about the enemy Sniper and no one seemed to care, but me. 

 

But fact remains, I was the first one killed by him. I tried to warn my teammates, but it was useless. Now, come on TO Dev's, how is the lack of communications between teammates even beginning to be fair?? We are suppose to be teams, not individuals playing on teams. There's no strategy anymore. We used boost each other's moral, strategize. If a teammate tipped over while carrying the flag, he could call for help. Not any more.

 

Let's put this in another perspective. Supposing no one in the office spoke the same language? How would anything get done? How would plans be made? How would there be any continuity? How would this game even get off the ground? Everyone would be doing what they thought was right, everyone doing their own thing.

 

Come on, now. We have to put up with your updates, but this one did not consider the pros and cons, nor was this for the betterment of the game nor the players. Who is this benefitting? Well, let's see. The two main servers were Russian and English. There were more Russian servers than English servers. So, the logical thing to do was to close down all the servers and reopen them with all countries mixed in together with the Russian players being dominate. And there is your answer: This update was to benefit the Russian players.
