Magnums not allowed on noise

I don't have to explain much, everyone knows how impossible is for the blue team to do something when there are 2 magnums bombarding the base whereas they remain safe behind buildings in red team. I suggest to add an option, so magnums are not allowed in this map. You might say, why do you want to stop these players from playing where they like? Well, because the other 8 players don't like to get spawn killed by an explosive shell falling every 2-5 seconds IN THEIR BASE.

The basic problem you write about, is clearly in the game and ruining batthes these days.

But instead of not allowing certain turrets (and later maybe hulls too on other maps..) it is a far better approach to balance the maps - imaging, certain sections would get a roof.

 

The thing with unbalanced Noise and Silence was already reported to the developers.. now we can only wait (and point it out from time to time again).

Can't you just take Magnum away? It's too damn OP in Noise. I prefer to be in the Blue team, so I can camp and hide. Magnums always camp up top and are always shooting down at us, getting a good score and nowhere is safe from them. They ruin all Noise battles and I'm so fed up with them.

 

Oh, the isida packs are next.

Can't you just take Magnum away? It's too damn OP in Noise. I prefer to be in the Blue team, so I can camp and hide. Magnums always camp up top and are always shooting down at us, getting a good score and nowhere is safe from them. They ruin all Noise battles and I'm so fed up with them.

Well, honestly, it's not the guns fault. It's mostly the players faults because many of them have figured out a way to exploit these flaws. Even I know how well it can be exploited, but I honestly just don't do it.

 

But anyway, it got much worse if it's in space mode.

 

It's better to redesign maps that have this issue. Rather than just removing a turret from certain maps.

You know that incomplete tunnel in Noise? That can be used as a blue-only route to the red's base. In fact, here are some pictures of what I mean:

Well multiple ideas will lead to the target, but some solutions are more universally useful then others.

 

Magnum is not just a different turret - with it's indirect fire it is a game-changer in the very deepest meaning of the word: it changes the game.

Even if you would give it the damage-per-minute of a Thunder (which is maybe has already, I have not checked the figures) it would still be very annoying.

Most players complain only about two maps: noise and silence. Most other maps feature as well terrain at different levels and a lot of hinding spots, but the complains are very, very much limited to noise and silence. IMHO this is because the base area is very small at Silence_blue and noise_red&blue. Small areas offer a big chance to splash damage turrets that can make use of it.

 

And so I think that the maps have to adapt.
