Fix magnum's turret so that it can't be below 15 degrees.

Doing what you suggest will not prevent Magnum's from self-destructing. It will only be a bit harder to do, e.g. one will have to turn to face a wall and then shoot. And why should only Magnums be not allowed to self-destruct? There are 6 other turrets in Tanki which can do damage to themselves, and they will all continue self-destructing if they want to.

 

Also, limiting the angle to 15 degrees will make gameplay extremely inconvenient. Many players like to charge up their shot to 100% and shoot at a low angle. Sometimes a low angle is necessary to drop a shot on an enemy below. If the tank is standing on a slope, shooting at 0 degrees will launch the shot over the edge. So your suggestion will only be annoying for Magnum players.

 

There's already a -5 score and -1 kill penalty for self-destructing, so there's no need for even more.
