Smoky Critical Damage Error

I have smoky m2, which has been micro upgraded once and has no alteration.

 

I've noticed that when I land critical hits from afar, it does huge amounts of damage, like it was point blank. 

 

Is this a glitch or is it intentional? Do critical hits do huge amounts of damage even though you are from afar intentionally or no?

Critical damage is constant regardless of range. It doesn't decrease over distance.

It is no glitch and it is intentionally this way. The critical shot has no damage decrease over the distance at all unlike the normal shots.

Maybe your critical shots don't like short range :c In that case try to play in larger maps so you would get more criticals at long range :D?
