Random respawn points

When a team is losing in CP and CTf, and there is no chance of recovery, most of the team quits. That leaves half a team or less to carry on. Many times impossible odds. All the respawn points are the same on each map. All the winning team has to do is post a couple players at each respawn point and go in for the kill as soon as materialization is complete. The losing team has absolutely no defense nor strategy to fall back on.

 

My suggestion is to make respawn points random on each map, in each battle mode. Much like DM. That way, it would be a bit harder to spawn kill and maybe give the losing team a chance for a rear attack. With this in mind, there may be less players on the losing team quitting.

CP:

Random Spawn locations will not help you as much as you think. Let's say that there are 1..5 CPs on a 10vs10 players map. So instead of camping the spawn locations, the enemy team will camp the CPs, with groups of 3..4 campers that camp close to 2 CPs that are close to each other.

As your team spawn randomly, you can not get the point back (your team is somewhere else), and you can not take them out neither. You can only itch them a bit.

 

CTF:

This gamemode takes it's fin from the fact that you have to move all way over there and back.. random spawns do make no sense through out the whole battle duration.
