Hello, I come up whit a new idea- this idea will be about the players which '' bully '' or like to swear a lot.

This ''boot '' is make to hidde  the swears and when you write 3 times a swear, the boot will mute you for 2h or a time choosed by an developer.

A basic automatic swear detection is not good enough to reliably detect swearing, while a high quality system is way too time-consuming and expensive to develop. The swear filter we have now is definitely more on the basic side, and it sometimes detects a swear word inside a perfectly acceptable normal word and censors it. At the moment that's not too much of a problem and all that happens is the word ends up being unreadable, but if bans were given out automatically, we would end up with a lot of unfairly banned players.

 

And as for actually preventing swearing - it wouldn't even be particularly effective, since very soon players will find ways to circumvent the filter and avoid getting banned by the system.

It can be used in an inappropriate way. The system does not make exceptions based on context.

I get the idea, thanks for explaining to me, I wasn't thinking about the cost of development and the other languages
