Declined Tags for Game Violations section

So the idea is, like you have [completed] [under review] [planned] and [declined] Tags in the I&S, you can have [invalid] (Ok, so that would be the most common), [Done], [Chat] (as a 2nd tag for chat violation reports), and so on.

The game violation section is under pre-moderation, which means that the topics are not visible until they are done.

In case they are done, noone can see the prove provided by the reporter.

 

So actually the only ones who are interested in the results are

- the topic owner > but he will read the content anyways if interested

- the player that was reported > but he is most likely only interested in who reported him, and gains no information from tags.

 

so there is no point in adding them.

If they are just meant to look fancy -> it is work to add those tags and the battle mods are better off if they can handle one additional report per day, instead of handling all those tags.

Wrong. The game violators section rules state that you must give the offence in the title, you will almost always know what the person in question did. Just not how they got caught.

Maybe you like to read again, what I wrote:

Noone can see the prove (meaning the screenshots in the past or the videos or whatever).

So there is truely no benefit of tags in this section over there

Because it is a useless feature, and it is "this mod's" job to decline them.

 

In this special case, before declining this topic, "this mod" asked for the opinion

-> of 2 other mods that have years of experience in the forum and partly in the I&S section

-> + the forum admin

 

Everyone involved, including "this mod", concluded that this gives no real benefit that would balance out the (small, but definitely summing up) additional work that has to be undertaken by the battle mods.
