Loss of abilities due to damage

On being damaged all tanks should lose a percentage of their abilities ie reduced speed, slower reload times, lower armour protection, but not a reduction in offensive firepower. This would mimic the damage effect on the tanks support systems. 

 

The %ge of loss could be worked out according to damage sustained.

 

I feel that this would make battles more realistic.

Would give people with lots of RKs even more advantage...

Those without would drop out of battle... since they are disadvantage until healed. 

 

Picture a Titan carrying the flag back to base and it keeps slowing down even more as it is damaged?

Would not take much to damage a wasp 50% - so it's speed drops by 50%?

No one would ever cap a flag.

I share that concerns..

 

I think a system that weakens a tank because of being hit, provokes players to camp even more.

I know, realism, but imho this game should be entertaining first, and realism comes later. It is a game.

 

WoT has such a system, and if you get hit you get slower, your turret might get stuck, or your reload is much slower. It truely teaches you to not to stick out your head anywhere.

 

With my Twins I could literally disable all tanks down to xy% and then move on. Freeze must be at it's best after this feature.

 

 

Maybe we can find some other things that can be reduced, without disbalancing the game.

What if drugs loose their efficiency, with the damage you take?

get your health reduced to 70%, and your DP gives you only 70% plus..

So if an artillery hits you you get your tank slowed at everything? no thanks

Strikehard - why would you lose on everything. I simply gave examples of things that COULD be affected NOT that ALL should be affected.

 

maybe a random reduction in one ability
