You have to think of a day as 24 hours or until the date changes. On the day it's been introduced, it is day 0, because it hasn't been in the game for a whole day and the date hasn't changed yet.

If the system was introduced in the morning and removed in the afternoon, it has been in the game only for a couple of hours, not a whole day.

If the question was "How many days have passed since the introduction of the Friend System?", then July 16 of 2013 is not counted, and the 24 hour reference is used.

And there's another reason we can't use the 24 hour reference to answer the question, the quiz only said Jun 30, it didn't specify which UTC hour... and minute... and second, because even a second could lead to a different answer.  :P  ;)  :)

You do realise that "how many days has it been in the game?" and "how many days have passed since it was first introduced?" mean exactly the same, right?

I don't think both mean the same.

What if it was introduced at 12:00:00 AM and removed at 11:59:59 PM of July 16, would you count that as 1 day, even if the date has not changed?

Here's another question:

For how many days has the Sun shined on Florida? would you say '0 days', because when it shines it never does for 24 hours?

:)

Once upon a time 70% turned to 30% discount these days -- I hope such discount exists in upcoming matchmaking days  #PoorTanki

I afraid that player will join the wrong team and lost because you can't choose the game. I think that tanki should use the amount of drug to balance two team. Drug affect a lot in high level. Facing a drugger with some non-drugging teammate is a bad idea. Some people don't use drugs even if the enemy use it all the time.

It's a false economy and a lot will realise this once people play more custom battles, particularly XpBp and other high-fund no-MU battles. You can win rewards throughout the course of a week that matches anything you get in a weeks missions and chains.

As it is now, the cost of the pass makes these battles less appealing, but as soon as that cost goes you'd have to be nuts to waste your time in matchmade battles, where you need strong (expensive) equipment and tons of drugs, unless you already have strong equipment for your rank.

Once that equipment becomes useless at your rank, is it worth upgrading it?

If your equipment is weak, then the outlay of crystals you'd have to pay out for the upgraded equipment you need to succeed in matchmaking battles more than nullifies what that mission income stream is worth. Just play no-MU battles instead, knowing that every crystal you win can go towards another non-upgraded equipment piece, which gives you more variety in the game too. Rather then being stuck with one useful combo for most of your time on the game.

And if you don't even like the drugs part of this game??? definitely another reason to avoid matchmaking battles.

Except for weekends, when I play (evenings EST) there are very few Pro-battles.

So now I log in, complete a mission or two (especially the crystal ones) and log out.

My equipment is not bad for my rank (3 M3 hulls, 3 M3 turrets, one pair 10/20 and others slowly moving up).

Completing missions is possible - but uses a lot of supplies. My beef is I don't like the game-play with supplies. Just not my thing.

So I guess I just have to hope that once match-making (and Overdrive) arrive, more people will flock back to Pro-Battles.

Still might try to complete one-mission/day to keep string going.  Grabbing supply-boxes might be harder though with random maps. Time will tell.

Maybe if the overdrive is implemented such that drugging Reduces the speed of charging of overdrive instead of the current drug once and get overdrive quickly feature, the teams can be balanced. Otherwise switching to no-smart supply mode should not be called customising and thus the battle shouldn't be called custom battle.

I just love this update, before i would have to waste 5k cris to get rid of those (removed) drugers without knowing if i would be able to play much during that month but now is free!! I will gladly give up on missions if i dont have to pay that 5k fee to be free from the ******ed drug gameplay. I think the matchmaking system is a big time-saver but the fact that i will be forced to battle drugers (even with the nerf) and that overdrive feature just "drives" me out of that hands down, drug enable battles are nothing but umplayable in high ranks.

I asked a similar question (although my proposal was different then yours) and Hazel declined - unfortunately.
I also think that it would ease up the life of tankers on EU1/2 a lot, if that system would be provided in the custom area..

Will we have the results soon? Not to hurry you guys tho :D Just asking.

Where are the results of the Keyboard Contest though?

Everyone who entered the answers to the quiz correctly has already received their goldbox. The keyboard was won by this player and was announced on Russian livestream. There doesn't appear to be a separate official announcement as far as I can tell.

Custom battles will yield exp and funds.

Although I have to admit it took some time to consider whether or not it should be that way. Custom games can not be customized any further and yield exp and funds at the same time as more customization options leads to more options of abusing the system. Say, if any day there will be an option to upload custom maps, player will take advantage of that to create ultimate map for power leveling. Easy way out is to remove core reason to power level like that.

It was decided to keep exp and crystals in the battle list though, as there is certain meta gameplay around funds mechanic in this type of games. While in matchmaking funds will be generated differently from how they are generated currently, in battle list funds still going to be generated from player kills. That funds-via-kills mechanics create meta gamplay somewhat similar to Poker in certain ways, with raids, leaves and drama around games that take long time to be compleated. While it is commonly a toxic system with mults and backstabs, it is still part of what made Tanki a Tanki in the past.

With matchmaking we can provide safe environment with more or less balanced gameplay while keep old style gameplay in custom games. For thouse who really know what they are doing.

Does that also mean, that it won't be possible to restrict a custom battle to certain turrets and hulls?

Actually I'm really relieved to hear that custom battles will continue to yield xp and crys. I'm curious how the battle fund mechanic is going to work in matchmaking games.
