What do you consider a "Good" Battle

I win.

My D/l is atleast 1.00.

I get more crystals than the score.

My place is good in battle.

Battle wasn't one-sided, it was somewhat difficult to win.

There were no noobs/mults in battle.

A good battle is when

  • there is not much player fluctuation
  • there are equal equipment levels
  • the win is decided rather late in the round
  • the battle fund is high
  • the map is not favoring one side
  • there aren't many drugs involved imho
  • you can communicate and coordinate with your team members
  • the people understand the situation and go after flaggers
  • there is a good mix of guns & hulls

Tied battle.

Small to medium map so that I do something constantly (preferrably CP).

Strong players in both teams (plenty of modules and MUs).

High battle fund

My english and russian allow me to properly communicate with my teammates.

I finish first.

Any battle I put my heart in and significantly influence.  Doesn't always pay off, as I am only good, not GODLY.

Here we see the Utah Jazz lose to the Chicago Bulls in the '97 NBA Finals.

Noise CTF, at least 20 flags to win with no time limit. Low ranks down to Major. No-one with Isida protection (15 at most), no magnums in the battle and with supply cooldowns. 1000+ score and D/L doesn't matter. 800+ crystals if I'm on the winning team, that's what I call a good battle for me.

I don't care about my personal success. I love a battle where forces are equal and both teams are good at attack and defence, and the score ends up being very close with both teams fighting for victory. Unfortunately I must admit that only about 5% of battles end up being somewhat like that.

I clearly remember a battle on old Madness where the final score was something like 34-33 in our favour. That was a seriously fun game. I might post a pic later.

Yes, unfortunately I have never been in a battle without a single drugger (never been in pro battle)

The Matchmaking system will be something benefitial for you then.

Already captured most of my thoughts above but

-the winning team and the losing team swap places a lot

-goal driven not time driven

-my equipment is not countered by more than a third of enemy modules

-my place on the leaderboard is in the upper half

Those battles that are challenging, where both your team and the opposing team play well and play fair. Battles where your teammates actually pay attention to each other and want to help their team.

In those battles it doesn't matter whether it's with or without supplies, whether my team wins or not, whether my score is the highest or not.

To me, game play isn't all that important. We all have our dream battles. When we log into a battle, we have one of two choices: stay or leave. For me, it's all about skill, deceit, stealth. I'm not a buyer so I use my hard earned crystals on my tank, weapon, module (maybe) and then supplies. Usually, I don't have any supplies at all when going into battle. I die a lot because of it.

A good game is if I make over 100 crystals on a winning team or 1st place on a losing team or manage to make at least one flag on a losing team (CTF mode). Then I feel I have done my part for the team. Yes, I have been in very close battles and those are exciting. But those are also dream battles and don't come very often. If I depended on a dream battle as being a good battle, then I wouldn't have very many of them.
