Convert fully upgraded LGC modules to 50% protection

A number of issues here...

How would it be done?

Blanket global change? (what if many prefer legacy as they were)

Example - many bought prodigi because it had huge Rail and decent Thunder protections

Would they want that changed?

Costs - all the legcay modules had different prices - some way cheaper than others.

Which modules become M3?

Current M3 start at 250k. Would only LGC mods costing >= 250k become M3?

Swash was a cheap 4-protection module with 8-15-10-5 with original max is ~ 12-23-15-10

What should that be converted to? M0 or M1? Certainly not M3 with 35-35-35-35.

Current M3x3 = 3x50% = 150% total protections

How to classify LGC mods and convert? M3x4 = 4x35% = 140% total protections?

Seems reasonable... but...

Would you want Raccoon 18-20-25-30  max at 36-30-32-45? (143) to have limit 35-35-35-35?

Or Lumberjack 30-30-30-10 with previous max at 45-45-45-20? (155) new limit 35-35-35-35?

Good questions.

The conversion of quadruple modules could be voluntary.

Price would not be an issue because the conversion would be based in the total amount of protection of each module. For example, a fully upgraded Flora (of 15% protection against Smoky) would become a Dolphin S-A M1 (with 15% Smoky protection).

If 35x4 offers less protection than some LGC modules, maybe we could raise that number to 39 or 40.

THIS IS CLEARLY BUMPING

riddler just goes around his old forgotten ideas and says stuff like developers should do this and repeats what he said in the first post just to get his ideas up the top of this section.

He really should get banned

#banriddler

I concur

But you dribble on, re-post the same idea, and pushing a barrow in your own favour... not considering anyone else, or that 99% of your posts are just rubbish.  I still see no need to change LGC modules.  You bought them for what they are, they were always going to become superseded so just get over it.

My Alien protection (isida, freeze, thunder) is a great combination that I already paid for, but sadly I cannot get more than an 8% protection against freeze and thunder. My 30% against isida is very useful though. Just wish I could use the other two.

Yes, we should have a balanced uniform system for LGC legacy modules with single, double and triple protections (excluding quadruple modules).

Developers should be aware of this problem, because single, double and triple LGC modules don't give the protections that players need, so they are underpowered.

Since modules are very expensive to buy, and even much more expensive to micro upgrade, not all players buy them today, so many players would just stick to their old LGC legacy protection modules instead of buying new ones that costs so much crystals to them.

Nope. LGC modules should stay as is.

Save up and buy new modules (instead of upgrading your silly Magnum) or use the LGC modules that still have some good protections.

Will I get a 50% against Rail because maxed forester? and Isida?

Since good-'ol Forrester does not have Isida Protection I'm-a-gonna say... .... .... nope.

I mean, it would be sweet if my stock Marine LGC offered 50% magnum protection.  But that's not likely gonna happen either.

LGC legacy modules which are low in protections right now should be buffed up to a maximum of 50% protection. This protection level is suitable for single, double and triple LGC legacy modules only. Quadruple LGC legacy modules must stay as they are because they would become overpowered if they exceed a total protection level of 150 points of protection.

After the upcoming module system changes it's likely that LGC modules will be removed and broken up into individual modules, so this idea is no longer applicable.

Idea invalid. Closed.
