What makes you think that the repair kit change will "ruin the game"? It only makes repairs less OP so that everyone (yes, including the druggers) can enjoy more balanced battles that don't end with a 10-0 score after 5 minutes.

look if its like it was in the testing stages before when we all played on it , my games were great  then went to garbage due to the cool down times . mainly cause no sooner you just trigger all the drugs on u then had to wait for them to be used again in normal way or if another person activated it . I had less kills in battles and were destroyed from others cause of it  . I play tanki X and cause they started out similar to tanki then change to what is coming here it works there cause there were less players with drugs and experience , here i'm sorry but it's garbage for me and lots of others .

Already tested it in test server yesterday.

Over drive will make battles unbalanced IMO.

Is it still balanced right now ?? This entire game will be unbalanced once the matchmaking system enter because you can't play in your favorite map anymore & it will be Tanki gonna choose for you  :huh:

You still can choose the map btw, on traditional battle list

i'm not tho, i have like 3 repairs left so i'm really happy about this  :D  :lol:  :lol:  :D  :lol:

I still can't play on my favourite map. :p

I mean it's good update for buyers because the more you drug the more Over drives you'll get.

Please, dont nerf the repair kit like this, everything is fine-- but now there is no point of repair kit For example:  How will i cap a flag ?! -- when repair kit stops healing as i get damage from  players shooting me. I will probally get taken out.

More over this update has paved a way for striker being very powerful We cant stand out it as repair kit's healing will stop as missiles hit, Thus making the game unbalanced and too Difficult to play. 

 I hate this repair kit thing It has left out repair kit of no use.

 Please consider  this repair kit  tweaks again, Rest is Good.

This update is so bad, I don't even know where to begin, nor if I should even try.

 

Tanki feels like a lost cause.

 

You devs should rethink how you process feedback from players, if CMs said that Overdrive is popular among players, then they were not careful in collecting feedback, and if you're basing this on the mass survey then you're wrong, if you don't believe me next time ask players if they want free crystals on those surveys.

 

Be ready to back up people, when you see enemies use Overdrive...

Overdrive is really fun for a weekend of special event.  It is HORRIBLE and a complete game changer as a permanent feature.

 

What can you people be thinking?  Just leave the game alone...your player base keeps getting smaller and smaller.  It is not that Tanki is Flash, or has run it's life expectancy, or even superior competition from other games....it's that you *$F%8*$* developers keep making such radical (and foolish) changes to the game.  

 

What rational person would send in serious money other than a buck or two for a game that might be essentially a different game next week?  If you buy something it might be changed into trash with the next update.

 

I spend about 90% less time playing Tanki now than I did previously.  My kid doesn't play at all anymore, she got tired of never knowing what was going to change next and the mission update killed any desire she had to play.  We can't be the only people like this...I would guess there are more people like us than newly generated players from Steam and Mini-Clip, etc.  ...and yet the administration keeps right on changing and changing.  The dread Matchmaking will undoubtedly be the real downfall that will break Tanki's back and send the number of players below 20,000 at peak play times.

 

Roll back some of these ill conceived updates.  Read the forum to find out which updates are disliked by players.  Take a survey with well thought out questions.  Stop trying to do what the hell ever it is you are trying to do by constant game changes.  Fix Tanki and make it fun again.

And why is there no alert about the update on the Russian site of the game? Or update will be on English cluster?

The update will be across all communities. Sometimes they are announced at different times due to logistical reasons.

 

Druggers' paradise, this update. -_-

What makes you say that? All drugs have been significantly nerfed.

If 40 seconds was 100%, 30 seconds is a 25% nerf.

I think the overdrive feature should be made available after tanki has made the match making system live.

At the moment its too early, this may ruin the game play for the loosing team.

 

Example:

Suppose at the starting battle 5 is in red side and 3 is in the blue side,

So Red team has a big advantage to fill its overdrive bar faster, and keep drugging hard,

Meanwhile blue team is filling up with players, (obviously more tankers will join the red team)

Red team will continue to dominate the battle as their overdrive bar is filling faster and using faster, whereas blue team will get hard time in catching up.

Consequently players will start leaving blue team as they are already being trashed up,and dont wanna trashed up more(between who wants tobe trashed more in battle except muls)

 

My point is the feature is really nice to play when both red and blue team start the battle togeather. :D

let's see how this works out in real battles..

 

I hope the hints for new players have been adapted as well, because elsewise they will run crazy.

The pilots that drive a low ranked alt will use overdrives, while the newbies have no clue about it, as the chat is locked up for low ranks.

I think this will be another bad update (surprise surprise), that ruins the gameplay, again. But let's see how will this work in real battles. 

 

From now on, you can't go through big fields of mines, like when trying to take out a camper or attack (Or even STG, but that's just a mini-game type of thing), so this update will benefit campers a lot, which makes the game a lot harder enjoy. :) And 1 of the reasonings for removing the few seconds of immortality were quite sad. You said it was too OP? If you do not know how to react to your opponent using a repair kit, that means your game-knowledge are bad, and don't deserve to win. So Tanki, instead of making players "learn" how to play the game, they make it easier for those who don't know anything. That's just sad. 

 

I think the 30 seconds of power up is kind of short, especially when attacking in large maps, but I guess the 50% reduced time of smart cooldowns should balance it pretty well. You need to be smart when to active your drugs, I like that, but you will be vulnerable. 

 

30 seconds of cooldowns? Really? That's way too long IMO...... And what was the point doubling the spawning delay time??? It just makes it longer to get back helping our team to win, so it was a quite bad choice.......
